Sometimes it is nice to see Chen Qi winning in tournaments... Because Chen Qi sometimes makes too many unforced errors, he has fewer opportunities in the team. Good to see him win. His loops are fierce and curly... Nice to see him loop. :D
@lesliefrancs I don't know about Chen's BH but I definitely noticed WLQ's more frequent use of his BH, which is getting better... This is a really good thing for WLQ when he gets older and less mobile...
Man, I wish WLQ had won, It would have been nice to see him play against Ma Lin in a finals just like old times. He has played against Chen Qi like 17 times or something and lost only once, its too bad he had to lose today
@scylla24 That's in international play. In their in-house tounaments Chen started to beat WLQ recently, if I remember correctly. That chop-block is really hard to pull off... Congrats to Chen for winning the whole thing!
@ZingyDNA yeah, of course, they probably play against so each other so often as part of the Super League that it would be hard to maintain just a good record.
And yeah that chop block was really good in those two last points haha.

Note: Chen pulled off 4 chop blocks in this video (he may have tired more). 3 of them Liqin sent into the net.

WOW THE LAST POINT WAS FANTASTIC....LOOKS LIKE HE WANT TO SPIN BUT HE CHOPS!
dukeisaac 1 year ago
2:20 Chen sets up BH then BH rips one through WLQ's FH. Current generation of Chinese players have stronger backhand than WLQ/Ma.

Whatever they are tuning with they need to share it with the rest of the world so we can get more rallies like these.
