It's crazy that students taking immunology are only learning to the level of detail that was reported in Sakano et al. (1979) in Nature, that is explained in this video. These students are expected to find cures, and treat disease, while only being exposed to 30-year-old information.

Nice vid, but it misses out the 12/23 rule with the rss's and the fact that artemis cleaves the hairpin. the video also uses a strand where the segments being arranged are in the same transcriptional direction, i wish there was a video for what happens with opposite transcriptional directions, the diagrams in the book are really hard to understand.
