You are correct. North Indians are proud of their lighter skin and south Indians are darker in complexion. Based on this, there is always attitude problem between North and South Indians, though no one talks about this in the open. That means fucking hypocrites.

Maybe they're thinking Irrfan and Resul need protection because of the many fans, whereas Kyle may largely be more responsible for her own safety plans. But, I also think Westerners will not allow themselves to be placed in police vans unless being arrested. Police escort for Wstern celebs means the police in their own cars escorting celebs in their own cars.
