some pll say stock it makes 390hp to the weels ford under rated them they make about 430 engine HP

@eddieweinburg your numbers are correct. 430hp to the CRANK, 390 to the WHEELS....but everyone seems to think ford rated them at 390hp to the crank....

@bradlyw420 The 2003/04 Cobra, came with a supercharged 4.6 L DOHC engine. The engine was rated at 390hp crank at 6000 rpm and 390 lbf·ft of torque at 3500 rpm. Form Ford however these numbers were found to be "sandbagged", or under rated, and actually produced between 420hp and 430hp to the crank..

not very entertaining since an 03 cobra has more than 330 hp to start. plus it has a pulley...comon. race a 450 hp VR4 or at least a 400hp VR4...make it a little better of a race...it wasnt so much that you fell asleep at the wheel...which you did, but that he launched and you didnt.

why is the cobra reaching its peak rpm alot sooner in the 2nd run? could it be that not only new nitto tires were added? hmmm...
