Of course, you cannot really have "sound" in vacuum, NASA did recorded audios from space. What they are actually recording is the radiowave emissions from celestial objects. The planet is mainly only a tiny rock/molten core (as found in all gas giants), and the part we see is only gas. It's a super thick lair of Helium and Hydrogen. It is, in fact, a gas giant. If it were made of ice, we could live on it. But it's not, and we can't. I have no idea who told you that.
