  • always loved the brass in this song

  • I just watch this video and It's the 10,000th view. WooHoo!

  • I LOVE THE TUBES, Fee thanks so much and the band too, will always remember the time we met in New Haven

  • SCHWEEET! Fav Tubes track ever.

  • Bring it on! This is the good stuff.

  • That´s the real funk - I like it!

In this video Fee looks a little bit like JAMES BROWN taped on the floor.

But still great ... he´s still getting the high notes on stage - RESPECT!

Hope to see em soon somewhere in germany !!!!

  • This song is soooooo dirty.... Always loved this tune.

  • Ondraus: Who was it that died? I know Vince Welnick died but he was long gone by then. Geeez, I'm so out of touch...

  • One of my favorites. I first saw them at the Kabuki Theatre in San Fran in 1976. Good times.

  • I don't know of Johnathan Mover. The album credits on "Inside Outside" show Prairie as the drummer. That's THE great version of this tune I like. Search for it - you'll agree. This live version isn't very inspired, to me. No disrespect -I love the Tubes, however... This looks a bit like Prairie playing but lacks the fire. Maybe Mr. Mover is the fill in drummer while Prairie tours w/ Rundgren & the New Cars.? Cheers!

  • Jonathan Mover played with GTR and with Joe Satriani. He did fill in when Prairie Prince was doing another gig. He details it in Dreumhead magazine. Unfortunately The Tubes have not been the same since the death in the band several years ago and the lack of a record deal. I LOVE THEM THOUGH. Thankfully I saw them on the OUTSIDE INSIDE TOUR once and LOVE BOMB TOUR twice. The album versions is a bit faster. It is cooler because of the live studio horns and MAURICE WHITE on background vocals.

  • I believe the album version featured Philip Bailey on backing vocals. Maurice White may have performed backing vocals as well.

  • This is a great song.. To me the BEST ever bridge in any song by anyone ever!!!! Great horns too!

  • @strivingx67...yeah, great horns on the album. This had synthesizers doing the work. Sucks actually.

  • too bad the tubes dont have a regular lighting guy, notice how little you can see, basically no front lighting and a bunch of whoopee cushion flashing

  • Me too, Fiver. What a pocket/groove drummer, Prairie Prince! Best all around entertaining concert I ever went to was The Tubes. Cheers!

  • Checked the info. It says 'Jonathan Mover'. Do they mean to tell us that he's playing drums on this? What happened to Prairie Prince?!?

  • One of my favorite songs from The Tubes catalog. Awesome!
