  • With these camera angles it had to be filmed aboard a ferry. You can definitely tell she was built by the same company that built the LAFD's "WARNER LAWRENCE." The deck guns and power ladder are virtually the same as on the "LAWRENCE."

  • Actually WARNER L LAWRENCE was designed by Robert Allen and built by Nichols Brothers, while LESCHI was designed by Jensen Maritime Consultants and built by Dakota Creek Industries.

    But all 4 companies are no strangers to work boats, it's no surprise the fireboats are similar.

  • I figured that out after I made my first post. oops. BTW, the CHIEF SEATTLE was also built by Nichols.

  • The video was taken from a departing Washington State Ferry

  • Maybe filmed from one of the other fire boats?

  • where were they going?
