The Jack Rabbit at Kennywood Amusement Park in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania is the second oldest roller coaster in The USA. It is from 1920. The Mission Beach Giant Dipper at Belmont Park is only the 5th oldest wooden roller coaster in the USA.

but i used to be scared of rollercoasters then me nd my best friend went on this together last summer i was scared as fuck but it was awesome im glad i live in sd lol
Been on this, and on the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's Giant Dipper up north, an hour from San Francisco. In my opinion Santa Cruz built a year earlier in 1924 is a better and more smoother ride. The first drop on this is something else!
i remember riding this ride with my friends for summer camp i was sooo much fun i almost flew out of my seat and my friends felt the same way too. at that same time one of my friends wanted to get off of the ride when it was about to start cause he said he felt as if he were going to puke. i wish i can relive those days :' )
omg I've been on that thing 20 times with my friends. We always go there, and it never gets old. That thing is soooo old though. It scared me a bit when I first went on it because of how old it looked. I'll go again next weekend. XD
I want to thank you for this video! I rode that roller coaster back in 1969 several times when I was 14 years old and before they renovated it. I remember it being extremely bumpy and rough. I lived and grew up in the east county and went to the beaches there every summer. I miss Mission Beach and Belmont Park. Thanks for the memories (smiles)!
