Hey, you must know that with the actual rules of that festival, the points of all countries must be 12 from the begining...so Spain won with 183 points, and Latvia was the last,, with 15 points... :) because that year, all countries started with 0 points.

I mean that Greece always gives "12 points to Cyprus" and Cyprus always gives "12 points to Greece" no matter how horrible the song is.

Whether or not is shows anything is a matter of opinion. Some will state it shows Greeks believe their culture etc is superior to any other European culture. Others will state it simply shows support for one another due to common origin.

In either case, it is a MUSIC competition, and politics such as these should not be in it.

i think antonio jose in JESC 2005 should have done a double for spain and won it. maria isabel was the true winner of the night, but i think that cory for the uk should have got more 12 points than she did. (only 1)
