@EvgeniaZ Jack is doing great! He had his yearly checkup at his doctor's office and his bloodwork was perfect. He has gained weight and isn't plucking his feathers. He still will grab one of his tail feathers, pull it sideways and scratch his head with it. So if you see messy tail feathers that is why. lol Thanks for writing!!
Thank for writing! Yes, he's a NUT! Last year Jack became very ill. We had no idea what the cause was. He plucked all of his feathers on his legs and chest. We found a great vet and we were able to nurse Jack back to health. Unfortunatly, he has come down with the same illness. We knew all of the signs/symptoms, so we were able to get him help ASAP. We are thankful that our other macaw and eclectus have never contracted the illness. Jack is recovering and we hope to have him showing off soon!

@jacknsally11 I am very happy that he is doing great! It's so difficult when the little one are sick, they can't say what's going on...

Jack is very funny and a great talker!
I have a Hybrid Macaw that can say a few things and laugh but is not even close to the ability and articulation of your bird.
