umm... there have been PDAs running windows based operating systems for ages... look the iphone looks really cool and have a really cool interface, but its not new. its a fancy PDA...

the problem with apple is its good to a point, and also very aesthetically, people mistake this the best... most people into technology know the macs have many short comings... but if you want to pay way to much money for a fancy way of looking at photos, thats up to you

Your right, people who can afford it, prefer to drive Mercedes instead of fords. Apple is not just about esthetics... its a way of doing things. And once you start working that way.. and it looks good on top of that, it's hard to look back. Microsot excells in bad taste... and working on that os just feels clumsy.

exactly. smartphones have been out way longer than the iphone. and if you look at what microsoft designed for the t-mobile shadow (and what could become windows mobile 7). that interface is way better than the iphones.

The addition of wifi sync and podcasting is really going to boost the zune market if it is snappy. Apple has a few glaring flaws with its lineup. The touch is crippled with no storage. The classic is slow as hell with no real advancements over 5g. Look out fanboys.

The next generation Zune is going to be a good competitor to Apple. Zune and ipod... Which is better well I have a Zune and will continue to back Zune. Although if you have an apple computer get an ipod but if you have a PC go with Zune. iTunes has some on certain problems on PC.  On Apple computer which is made for it hardly has any.

Thanks for uploading the video, but I'm going to keep my iPod.

Syncing my music to others and from other is a non-priority for me. As far as wireless syncing I don't think its all its cracked up to be. Case in point Blue-tooth is a pain in the butt. I got Blue-tooth Stereo headphone and they are it and miss.

Microsoft has done it again... This new zune is overall WAY better then the previous vesion.I would prob chose the flash player then the hard drive. I am a iPod lover so i use iTunes. How can i convert iTunes music to The zune market place if i get this product?

The Zune80,Zune8, and Zune4 all natively support WMA, AAC, and MP3. If your iTunes library is all in any of these formats, you can switch to Zune without any converting.

This means if you ripped CDs or downloaded songs then put them in iTunes, your work is done. If you bought music from the iTunes music store, you'll have to purchase a program such as TuneBite or SoundTaxi to strip the DRM off your music.
