btw, the talk of "designer babies" scares the shit out of me. I think it's actually possible with some of our current knowledge. But I could be wrong on that. I just think tampering with dna to create a girl with blond hair and blue eyes is wrong, but if we could find a way to "cure" diseases it might serve a good purpose.
I would go as far to say that using genetic modification to cure disease is perfectly okay but anything that involves changing features or any other superficial things should either be outlawed or HEAVILY regulated.
