Aaron did not go to uga because of Brantley. I wish people would quite with that! He wanted to play with his brother who he has never played a sport with, well at least not on the same team. So quite hating, and love the fact that he is known as the #1 quarter back in the sec east!(:
It is not everyday that you find an athlete who is as humble as this young man. He cried because he has gratitude welling up in his heart and he simply pours it out. You come to Ga, young man, do your best, and whether you are a stud or a flop, you already are a decent young man. God has given you a gift, you are aware of it, and you are not going to waste it. We love you, Aaron, welcome to Ga.
Cry mama's boy cry... it's important to be a sensitive guy in the rough sport of football... NAAAHHH !!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see that guy take a hit and fall in tears in front of thousands of people.
He seems like a great kid with a good head on his shoulders. As a QB though, my concern is that he played in that **** spread offense in h.s. Stafford did too and until his junior year, his numbers were mediocre at best. Stafford said he had never read defenses from the line or dropped back until he got to UGA so his decision-making and footwork stunk. I think Murray will do better though. I see a lot less ego and more will to improve in him than Stafford had.
Yeah, Stafford wasn't much of a leader. Moreno was the real leader of the team. Also, when the game was on the line, Stafford often folded like a lawn chair. A. J. Green pulled Stafford's fat out of the fire several times last season (such as the great catch of a marginal throw into triple coverage against Kentucky.) Richt and Bobo were both critical of Stafford's footwork even going into 2008. Merrill Hoge (ESPN) was critical of Stafford's decision making where he often locked in on one guy.
iztech101 is definitely not aaron murray. he is obviously a florida fan and u replied to his comment and said "you made the right choice". u might have done it on accident but i'm just sayin ha
Welcome to the family! You can start helping the program now by helping recruit other stars for your signing class for next year. It's always great when we can pull players out of FL! Best of luck in your senior year!
Give us a break. This is not the be all end all except for the kid who seems to be a really fine young man. But these kinds of press conferences over a high school kid choosing a college have gotten totally out of hand. This looks like a circus.
It's one of those things where if you don't like it just keep going on about your business. Everyone there is in support of him, ppl that don't support him can stay at home and do whatever pleases them. It's a great moment for him and his family, it's not a circus.
You appear to be a fine young man who I know your family and friends are very proud of. Welcome to Athens and thanks for choosing Georgia over all the other offers. Your gonna love playing football on saturdays in Athens between the hedges!

He went to Georgia because there was a good Possibility he could come on and compete without them slapping the shirt on him right away
If he went to Florida, Especially with Brantley AND Tebow in 09 they would've put the shirt on him immediately..
