@BrunetteBarista Blur Studio or something like that. They also did the trailers for Resident Evil: Raccoon City, and Batman: Arkham City. The intro was amazing! I love how it told viewers what made Lisbeth who she is, and what came of her misfortune. It was perfect!

Rob Sheridan (who is amazing) only does the art for NIN/Trent Reznor's album packaging/tour visuals... and other things for different artists as well.

I saw the movie last night. This is real, but the full one in the movie used the same version of the song as on the soundtrack.

@coldstaind91 The academy was screened the film and one of the viewers wrote in his review "only David Fincher could create a opening credit sequence that is epic and like nothing we've see before with black metallic oil morphing into characters and symbols from the movie. Also, having Trent and Karen O’s excellent version of “Immigrant Song” play over the opening credits boldly states where here, were epic, be prepared for an intense crime thriller."

@TheeOneWhoTalks The person you are referring to didn't see the film. It was screened for the NYFCC, a small group of professional critics.

Do you honestly think that the person is a professional critic? Posting the review on Tumblr (after being allowed not to do so- if he indeed attended the screening), and after all of the spelling errors in the review? I very highly doubt he saw it.

Besides, adding something like this- as cool as it is- as part of the opening credits is not Fincher's style.

@MadonnasMrDj Yeah to me it seemed fishy, so I just decided to be unsure (but mostly under the belief they were just a troll), I'm happy it's not real though. And since It's not I think this will be the big thing Reznor will show at midnight, not only will it be an amazing music video, but it'll be great promotion. For the uninterested of the movie, the song is sure to spark some, and if we're lucky it'll become really popular before the movie comes out making the movie get loads of box office.

@MadonnasMrDj Both versions are amazing. Trent has said there is more than two and a half hours of music written for this movie. I can't wait to hear it all!

@esholly Neither can I! Hopefully there is some sort of deluxe version of the soundtrack or something, but soundtracks rarely get deluxe releases.

However, seeing as Trent's own NullCo. is releasing the soundtrack, I can assume that the full score will be released.

He released the track from the 10.03.11 video, so hopefully he can release the full teaser version online as well! Then we can get THIS version on the soundtrack!

More info about the soundtrack on Dec. 2nd!
