The Mac book air never was the thinnest. The thinnest was built in 2003 from sony a Vaio x505, I got one and I can tell you if you put them side by side its much thinner and has more connection ports

Looks awesome. I'm going to buy this to replace the shitty Macbook Air i have. The thing cant even run Photoshop CS5 because its so weak. I bought the Air as I am a graphics designer, and I wanted something to go with me wherever I go, so when I'm inspired, I can whip out the laptop and do some work. Unfortunately, The Mac cant even handle running Photoshop CS5 and. Thats just pathetic. Hopefully this PC can run it flawlessly. Until then, i'm stuck using an HP for on the go work. It does fine.

Mac's biggest problem is that it can't play the latest, most power-intensive PC games.

Also, the department I work for use statistical and scientific applications that were specifically written for the PC. Mac can't run them as well.

And I happen to like to build and customize my hardware. I select and put in the best, very specific components and parts for my PCs.

Apple is monopolistic in that regards: Mac does not allow users to fully customize their computers. It limits user customization in that regards. With PC, I can build and customize my computer however I want it.

For casual (dumb) users who only know how to buy pre-build, pre-made computers, Mac is probably the better choice.

However, for POWER USERS like myself, who know how to build and customize my own computers, Mac is really no match for PC at the very high-end.

(I can write applications; I even wrote simple operating systems back in college.)

PS: PC is not just for Windows. Ubuntu and other Linux uses Windows as well.

What Apple makes is just an overpriced name brand. People pay premium prices for Apple and Mac to make themselves feel superior to others; it's no difference from buying Ferrari and Porsche. They pay extra to compensate for something that's missing inside themselves.

And, when you couldn't argue with reasons, you started throwing out insults. That's very typical of a MacHead, which is another sign of insecurity.

I'm very secured with myself. Giving you the REASONS why people who know A LOT about computers and software prefer PCs (Windows or Linux/Unix) over Mac is not "bragging".

Mac *is* for people who like to think they know something about computers but really don't. Because if you do, you build your own PC and avoid Mac.
