that was so funny! i ordered mine from ebay today (the seller i found had many, many colors to choose from, unlike amazon, ladies) and i can't wait to try it. i have long, thick dreadlocks, but am losing my hair due to illness, and i'm not trying to miss a beat. i'm hoping i can make the la jay work for me. thanks for sharing! when your'e not used to wigs they take a bit of getting used to at first. what helps if you are a newbie is to have your jewellry, earrings, makeup ( if used on) that way you can see the whole picture. btw i really like your natural hair its lovely, and it looks like it is in great condition.

I have one wig that I wore when I was transitioning but nothing now that I'm natural. I may have to look into it. It looked good once you cut and shaped it. i will just have to grow on you I'm sure. If I hadn't seen you put it on I would have believed it was yours.
I like the second day look. Yeah, just pull out some hair at the top to cover the seperation. Also, if you want, beauty supply stores sell wig clips you can sew in side the wig to keep it from moving. But overall it does look like your hair. Just wear it with confidence:)

Girl I totally feel you! I like my hair kind of flat at the top, out at the sides and tapered. I dont have any wigs, but you could throw a headband on to make it more condensed.

You did a good job styling Lajay. I have Lajay, but have only worn it in the house. I think it looks nice, my husband and children say it looks good on me but I just feel like it is so big. I am not totally comfortable with the wig concept even though I know people have been wearing them for years and years. When I wear my natural fro I get comments at work, so I don't know how people will react to the big hair.
@Nicsnaps I feel the same way- what will the people at work thing. I've worn my own BIG hair but not a big wig. I will be wearing it to work but maybe pinning it down just a little.
looks like its the exact wig i have, i trimmed the wig quite a bit, and brushed out some the curls at the ends to make the wig look more realistic. I think every curly wig needs work, im seeing the end of the video, it looks really cute

It looks pretty after you cut it as well. I think you just need it to grow on you. Wearing a wig is very very different.

you can also use a satin du rag to wrap your hair if you don't want the nylon wig cap rubbing on your hair.

I am not totally comfortable with the wig concept even though I know people have been wearing them for years and years.
