  • Hello HcgGirl I have a questions are is it ok to start in the middle of your period or should i wait because of the whole water retention issue, or wouldnt make a big difference? Secondly I am in the Navy and I go out to sea ALOT 80% of the year the protien they serve onboard is.sometime terrible or double deep fried with extra over processing and a double splash of sugary sauce do you think sometimes drinking protien shake in place of the protiens im missing would be ok?

    Thank you for your time

  • @niketayhopson23 private messaging you.

  • ms hcg girl; I have a question from my son who has lost 45 lbs and is now just gone onto phase 3 and he got a really bad kidney stone and a dr told him it was from the hcg? Have you heard of that from all the people you communicate with??

Thanks for all the time you give to us all.

  • @elainamari1 I have NOT seen other people or doctors report that. Your doctor may NOT be an advocate for this protocol.

    Thanks for watching!

  • I want to be like you when I grow up hahahaha. love you , besos

  • @BrazilianGirl36 I LOVE YOU GIRL! Hope you are doing well. Where are you? PLEASE VLOG! muwaah!

  • Thanks for the great vlog! You def know what you're doing. I hope one day I don't have to weigh in every day but until then "I need to check on my checkbook ledger". Thanks for helping me stay accountable. Hugs:)

  • @TheJujubee68 amen! I feel very strong about that. God is faithful and will release me someday but I don't believe it is anytime soon. HUGS

  • I think the thing that I am most scared of is falling back on habits of sweet "addiction" and boredom eating. Those are I feel the reason why I am overweight. The lady I work with does the no more than 4lbs up rule after she's lost a lot of weight so I can agree that the 2lb rule is good to go by for sure! Because after 5lbs its hard to drop.

  • @americanidolbabe3 Just finding what WORKS for YOU is the key! If it is 4#s, then so be it. Stick to the rule YOU make. You have to live in YOUR BODY for the rest of your LIFE. (tip~try to find a hobby to occupy yourself instead of running to food. ie: scrapbooking, blogging, crocheting/knitting). Good luck!

  • I totally love watching your Vlogs..and, I totally agree with you. In my opinion, we didn't jump on the band wagon to not be accountable. I'm not saying there won't be times where we just don't want to think about, but at that time, we will have to eventually deal with it if our weight creeps back up.I'm so glad I found these vlogs and myfitnesspal because these are two tools that are incredibly helpful and the best part is they're FREE! I've paid so much to lose weight over & over again.

  • @geriwidell amen sista! ♥ya and proud of you VLOGGING!

  • @suzyhcg thanks for your continued support! ♥

  • Sorry, hit post before I was ready. Its a constant, never ending journey. We will always need to watch our eating and keep our weight/body fat% in check for the rest of our lives. You have done an fantasic job! I finally, finally understand and cannot wait to join you in lifetime maintenance at goal. :)

  • @HCGBlondeAmbition I don't believe for a second that I will be magically cured overnight. I am 50 and didn't get to this point in one day.

Thanks for watching & supporting my journey! Can't wait til you join me! HUGS!

  • Great vlog, and great information! Most people need to weigh daily to stay accountable. Because of my sickness with the scale i had to step back to once every few days. I find I stay more on protocol without the disappointment of zeros or small gains during P2. of my

  • @HCGBlondeAmbition I totally get the over-obsession with the scale. I was NEVER like that so for me it is opposite. I need the accountability. Good point for those who struggle with the same issue as you.

  • whats your fitness pal name

  • @gramnet pm'd you.

  • I know hat you mean about healthy obsession.I didn't do portion control.i didn't consciously thing of.it I didn't have weight issues till recently .I could eat what ever and want and not gain a lb but not healthy

  • @gramnet interesting point!

  • thank you for sharing your P O V... on this topic..

  • @Bayshamel YW! Thanks for watching!

  • Ya know what..what you said about the scale/food obsession being a healthy kind of obsession..that is exactly what I thought of when I heard this topic come up. Our lives and bodies change so much and it seems like part of that change is being aware of our weight on the scale, aware of our emotions, aware of our food decisions and why we make them, when as you said, before we didn't do that. As we have said before, so much of our success starts in our thinking process. Great v log girl! Luff ya

  • @justgranny45 so true! I attribute LONG TERM SUCCESS to GOD though. I don't trust myself and the bible warns about that. Luff ya back! ♥

  • Great Vlog!! I love that you're holding yourself accountable, weighing every day, and eating the foods that you think you earned. My hubby and I would always say we "earned" a burger or something high calorie when we had a really good workout, and sometimes our bodies do need that extra fuel. Everyone slips up and overeats or tastes a little to much of this or that, but I think overall you're doing a great job! You're so aware of your bodies needs, and that's fantastic!!! <3

  • @stepharoo85 thanks for the comment & support! HUGS & LOVE! ♥

  • i love your video it is really informative and helpful God bless u :)

  • @expresservice thank YOU so much! ♥

  • I’m no expert but I will say that what you are doing is exactly right. Being conscientious of what you are eating, being accountable for your cheats and monitoring your weight daily on the scale – that is how you will prevent yourself from going back to where you started. You are awesome. God Bless!

  • @Fabzee1 thanks for your input! God bless back!

  • Thanks for this info! You're always to enlightening! You must be doing things right, you look great! I've always weighed myself too, even before HCG. Yeah, I've had ups and downs with my weight, but I knew by weighing everyday, I would know if I had to correct. And I know for sure that if I didn't weigh myself, I definitely would of gained so much more. It keeps me in check to always want to lose again!!! Love you and your vlogs!!!!!

  • @Meezie24 thanks for watching, giving us your input & supporting my journey! ♥

  • Best 15 min. spent, in a while..... LOVE YA! I would love Steph Universe, SocalPlum, Mammaclock..... All the successful P4 ers to do the same..... We can use Our Family to overcome the most important part.... P3 P4 How to change our Food disorders. I think This will be a great VLog for P4/ Did you tag for P4?

  • @HcgCharm thank YOU girlfriend! I hope they all get on the bandwagon and talk. I did tag for P4. Thanks for the support! ♥

  • I think everyone that who has been successful at maintaining.... should vlog about how they overcome food addiction or poor food choices. I think this will be great.

  • @HcgCharm I was gonna do this before I even saw your v log.....Thanks for sharing....

  • @HcgCharm HUGS & LOVE! ♥

  • Good vlog!! I love your opinions especially since P4 starts for me on Monday!

  • @HCGCandini Hope you are very successful in it! HUGS!

  • Thanks for always being here with your helpful thought that help us all.

    Best wishes

    Sally

  • @homemovies1961 thanks for watching & supporting me!

  • Not enough people vlog about P4 or maintenance. It is extremely helpful!! Thank you! I was thinking today how I'm going to cope. I don't want to have to say no forever to carbs but I believe my metabolism is so shot that I'm going to always gain when I eat them. I know I'm going to be "instantly on a diet" when I get over my goal weight but for a routine way to attempt to stay in the 5 pounds under maybe a rotation of days would be good. Fat Fast day, VLCD, low carb day, some carbs day etc

  • @JHoberer1 All I can say is that for SOME of US. This could be a LIFELONG JOURNEY. We all are overcoming FOOD addictions & our eating disorders. With God's help and this community, we all will have success! ♥

  • I love Dana's vlogs! I am so amazed that you can vlog in front of your husband sitting there like that! For me the daily scale keeps me on track and aware of my choices too- otherwise I just know I'd get too free with myself. I wonder if the your true bmr is different? After watching delmem's video today- I didn't know the calculators could be underestimating like that. This was a great vlog today! I think I'll vlog about my reasons for overeating now!

  • @HCGChica my husband is motivated by my vlogging. He has been slowly changing his ways of eating because of me! He doesn't make me nervous because I am the same person ALL the time. When I vlog and when I don't. :) (Hope that helps.

I understand all the discussion about the scale but I also understand that I have a LONG way to go before to get to that place of totally letting go of monitors!

    Hugs & ♥

  • Thanks so much for sharing. Lots of food for thought. I've been narrowing on the reason for my emotional eating the past week and yours and Rilla's vlogs today have helped pinpoint it. Shocking. I am so glad we have this awesome community and your continued support is appreciated.

  • @JessiHcg me too! I am so thankful for active vloggers like YOU! Your honesty has not only enlightened me but so many others! Thanks for being YOU! ♥ya

  • Thanks for sharing!.... We need you too!... Luv ya!.... Hugs!

  • @mommakato4 Muwaah! HUGS!

  • LOL I don't balance my check register at all. I always have a rough idea of what's in there though. LOL I'm bad, I know. I do like your analogy and it makes sense. Thanks for sharing the things you do to keep maintaining. Hugs to you!

  • @MightMouseLisa HUGS & LOVE! Thanks for your input! You are a valuable asset to this community. ♥ya

  • AWESOME!

  • @MemesHCG thank YOU!

  • I totally agree Re: other diets etc. not teaching us how to maintain, correct, etc. thanks to Dr. Simeons! I lost 130#s after college, had no clue about how to maintain, I just abstained 100% from white flour and sugar. That worked for 6 years, but when I had to travel for biz, it went out the window. can I say RESPECT not fear.

  • @Sourpusscandy I definitely appreciate your comment girl! I know we all have learned some valuable tips to overcome our eating disorders for life. With the support on yt & other forums, we can & will overcome! LORD WILLING! :) ♥ya

  • Love, love, love! thanks for sharing!!

  • @Jkreykes1 Thanks for WATCHING! :)

  • Great tips pretty lady! Yep. Going back isn't an option. Chips and salsa are my weakness too. So on the treadmill we shall go!

    xo

    Dee

  • @DeeHcgPrincess Been adding in chips regularly. Seem to be fine with it.

Thanks for the comment & support! :)

  • Thanks for sharing girl... Luv ya! Absolutely love the bank account analogy!!! That is awesome!

  • @HCGfashionista I am NOT to the point where I don't check my check register daily and I am a middle aged woman! lol May be a long while before I let go of the scale!

LOVE ya! You definitely encouraged everyone to chat. MUWAAH!

  • Lots to think about. I too am attempting to battle the emotional part of this journey. It's the walk of a lifetime.

  • @HebbieDobby It is a LONG WALK in my opinion. I didn't get here yesterday (My dad always said yesterday! lol)

We can overcome but I really believe it takes honesty and turning to God.

    Thanks for the comment! HUGS!

  • Love this hon! So much of it I agree with...for now...and I'm sure for a long time...I will weigh everyday. I don't want to go back either.

Amen on the Fear of God!!! You know I agree there :-) I have Faith that HE will get me through my Life Phase...I can't do it alone and don't want to. I am so glad Dana did the vlog...it was so much good stuff to think about. And I do think we are all different...with different degrees of "issues" .

Thank God we are here for each other to turn to. :-)

    XOXO

  • @HHcgCraZy there has been a healthy discussion lately here on YT and other forums. I am glad to see Faith brought in the picture. I just HOPE that most are turning to GOD and NOT to themselves for the long haul or they will be disappointed.

HUGS & LOVE to YOU! Muwaah!
