Hmmm it seems that when people get near you, it gets more laggy, meaning your computer can't handle it. Either play in a room that the maximum amount of people is low, or lower your resolution and turn off some special effects.

hmm, it does help, just your computer is not able to handle that game so the only thing I could tell you is to get a new computer, if you can, can you give me your specs?

Also you might want to try lowering the resolution and turning off some effects in the game.
