man its soooo good, but how do you keep your hand so steady when drawing it. im thinking about getting open canvas but i really think i wont be able to use it because my lines will be retarted!!
Seconding what banhph0 said. Hard to go wrong with a Wacom. Even the "bottom end" Graphire or Bamboo series should do the job. Mice are great for beziers and 3D object manipulation (if you ever do that kind of thing), but they suck at drawing. Once you get past the drawing surface being slippery and develop some coordination, tablets beat the heck out of anything you could draw freehand with a mouse. The pressure sensitivity also helps a lot for dramatic line weighting or subtle shading.
heheh thanks everyone for the comments, and it WAS my first time. It wasnt my first time drawing, and Ive done a little bit of digital sketching in Photoshop. But this WAS my first time using Open Canvas and recording a sketch.
its good, but the shadows are wrong.
