New book by Former Gitmo Sec Off writes that our torturing at Gitmo is not only a heinous & useless abomination; it is in fact the direct cause of the deaths of over 3000 US Soldiers!
Why is there torture by Americans?
Likely these abominations of war & torture are merely an extension of the typical Americans brutal mind; a mind corrupted by a pathological disassociation of compassion that is inherent to the corporate working stiff

Bush and all of his associates need to face charges in an International court of law. I would not trust the courts here in the US to conduct the trial fairly and properly. Maybe Bush and his cronies need to go to a place like Gitmo and be treated as Sami Al-Hajj was treated.

It should be closed, but remain standing, as a monument to the inhumanity of the Bush administration.
