Hello friend. I love your hair. I had mine for almost 12 years! Its half way pass my hips! Let me tell you. Don't ever say "I won't cut my hair" because at some point you will have to. For employment reasons or social pressures or it will get too long (which is my case) that it becomes too much, you may have to. I've cut my hair for a job and I regetted it. Some people think that my hair is braided but, I tell them that its my real hair and their jaws drop! Keep it up friend and good luck!

I really don't know what naturalmystic33 is talking about. My nephew and all my friends that have their hair locked always twist their hair or go to a salon to get it twisted. And NONE of them wash their hair every day. But you accepted their advice with a lot of grace, even though I don't believe it was proper information.

Twists are NOT dreadlocks. Dreadlocks simply grow and are free. Twists come from a twisted system of stealing people's money in salons and making them think they have dreadlocks. A Just wash your hair (every day if you like), shake it dry, and let nature do it's thing. Separate them as you see fit, but NEVER twist or put scam products in your hair to "help" it lock. The only thing I put on my dreads is some Egyptian Musk or Myrrh depending on the time of year or the scent I want women to catch.

Twists are NOT dreadlocks. Dreadlocks simply grow and are free. Twists come from a twisted system of stealing people's money in salons and making them think they have dreadlocks. A Just wash your hair (every day if you like), shake it dry, and let nature do it's thing. Separate them as you see fit, but NEVER twist or put scam products in your hair to "help" it lock. The only thing I put on my dreads is some Egyptian Musk or Myrrh depending on the time of year or the scent I want women to catch.

I never cheat on my wife. 9 years strong. Jealous? Most black women are. But I don't shy away from what I said. Women love my locks and the scent and I sure as hell never scented for men.
