I'm a Referee, not a Linesman, we're part of the game, we do out best to get out of the way, it's all about anticipating where you're going to go based on the current play, and sometimes you get retards who don't know what they're doing and keep bumping into even their own players -.-

The linesmen is considered part of the ice. Not the linesmen's fault that Zumbo wasn't looking where he was going and plowed into him. Still, the suspension was too severe. You do that today, you'll get a small fine.

@robertcollover Considering Cal Clutterbuck punched a linesman twice this season and received no discipline, I would say you are over shooting with your assessment. Let's not forget that you only receive a suspension if you injured someone.

@tyrant88 lines and refs are part of the game. Z had his head down and didnt see him. Its like saying I would of had a goal if that goal post wasnt there.

@skangmox i suppose..but when i play football my coach always told us that the ref's were part of the field. You cant divert your course of action becuase they're in the way. You just go through them.
