I was showing some friends how Power rangers Megazord straight copied off of Vehicle force Voltron. just watch the megazord transformation (lion voltron) and the pose he makes after forming (vehicle voltron) + megazord looks like vehicle voltron
Why do these people keep saying THEY created VOLTRON??? they might have MARKETED it...but GO LION FORCE was out YEARS before VOLTRON....Christ they didnt do ANYTHING!
voltron was redone here in my home state of missouri well---damn thats fucking like --whatsa good word --- how about homegrown wicked kool--did not know this
Acutally if I remember, for about 3 times a show on Saturday mornings came out here in Los Angeles, in 1990. An old man would start telling about a group of heroes that would save the earth from giant villains. He would call them "The Rangers". Then the show began, it was the real Power Japanese Rangers with awesome real life animation. Like the first era of Power Rangers, but this version was 100 times better. the best thing is that when they call their robots, they form into Vehicle Voltron
So this original 'Rangers' which its members included the original Voltron character colors including a female japanes in Pink uniform. When I first saw it I though it was Voltron with real human action! The show was awesome and counld't wait for the next show. Well they cancel it and I tv channel never showed that show again! I couldn't stop cursing... lol...
I used to watch this show alongside Robotech New Generation, Gilligans' Island, Leave It to Beaver during the summertime..no job, no care in the world..
@stacadams1 I THINK you mean LIVE ACTION Voltron MOvie...and they are already in the process of making one,. They need to make it MORE like GO GO LION rather tan VOltron
@Swisha217 power rangers came from super sentai which was made originally in 1973 or 1975. when the sixteenth super sentai series zyuranger (aka season 1 of mmpr) came they were long doing giant mechs for years which started in 1979 with the 3rd series battle fever j and continued onward. in 1980 the 4th series did a mecha that would transform from a vehicle to robot. then in 1981 the 5th series sun vulcan did combining (two machines into one). it was super sentai that did it first.
@Swisha217 Actually, the Japanese have been doing mecha shows for years. You're forgetting that Power Rangers was cobbled together from footage Kyoryuu Sentai Zyuranger.
@Swisha217 Power Rangers was actually based off another show from Japan and THEY copied Voltron. Wiki Power Rangers.You'll see what I mean.But the pioneer(besides Astro Boy) was Mazinger Z from the 70's.
VEHICLE FORCE VOLTRON= FUCK U UP!

The irony is, Golion was never very popular in Japan, but it was a much better show than Voltron.

So true, GoLion... such an underrated show.
EliroX904 2 years ago 2
@EnigmaHood
We owe the Japanese a great debt. If they hadn't made Golion, we wouldn't have the awesomeness that is Voltron.
Let's go Voltron Force!

Oh yes. Japan makes a lot of great animation.
