At one point there was walk about being able to use the Vita as a PS3 controller (I think it was officially confirmed by Sony). Obviously it doesn't have all the buttons, that the PS3 controller has, but some games doesn't need them (e.g. You Don't Know Jack, which I consider importing). Do you know if that feature made it to the Vita, or if it has been scratched?

I can't find information about that on any of the gaming sites, who has previewed this. Thanks.

Well actualy you can play all games from ps3 by your psv remote play, in only one condition. Your ps3 must be cfw at about 3.55 ;/ wich pretty sucks now(there are some videos on yt wich can prove it). I dont know why sony is doing it to us, but they just want players to hack there console ;/....

not all games are playable. even if your PS3 is hackable. Trust me i know i had a hacked PS3 and used remote play on PSP. its able to stream the content but not perfect.

what sony needs to do is work on the bugs. why release something that might have bugs and get even more complaints about that. so just wait sony will make a Update that will allow it to work

being on CFW doesnt count as being able to play thats not by the guide lines of the EULA.

And its funny, it makes me wonder if Sony used cfw on their ps3 to show how remote play works on the demo. Because its very unusual for them to show something that works, then all of a sudden release something that doesn't work on the Vita.

well no its sony. they can do what they want on there system and they did say that remote play wasnt going to be available to play PS3 games on the Vita on launch. they said after launch. they are still working out the bugs.

plus you are right it is pointless to play it on the vita with slight internet lag when you can play flawlessly on your PS3

it will still have wifi lag. it might not be pointless in that. but with the WIFI lag no matter what you wont be able to play at 100% because of the motion lag. example if you played Call of duty. you will die on your PS3 before you see yourself die on the Vita
