  • this song's atmosphere is pure 100% grunge...

  • Sublime rock & rock with a classic rock flavor, excellent singer & band, I am LOVING the hell out of this.

  • Cornell could sing the phone book and make it epic. This entire album is awesome but THIS song is flat-out freaking incredible. Brilliant lyrics, un-freaking-real vocal performance.

  • Ironic that most organized religion like this.

  • mystical and great shit

  • omfg this is great

  • Chris has been garbage post-first solo album, but this album was a true classic, should've kept making music like this instead of mainstream, generic hard rock (Audioslave), then trying to do that horrid rhythm and blues album (or whatever you want to call it, abomination also works) I don't even like him in Soundgarden reunion, that beard just screams "GUYS LOOK IM COOL AGAIN, IM TRYING TO BE LIKE EDDIE VEDDER PLEASE FORGIVE ME" ntm the thought of a new album is worrysome at best after "Scream"

  • @Shepherd492 there is absolutly nothing wrong with audioslave...however scream was fucking garbage...

  • What "finook" would dislike this song!?

  • Cornell just makes the best acoustical shit !

  • i spent all my money on a future grave...that says it all man...

  • I'll cut you in on 20 percent of my future sin...that is the line on this song...they are saying that we go to church, whathave you pay money and expect to be saved...it is ridiculos...

  • The song is about TV evangelists. Coat hanger halo (antenna), wooden Jesus (TV Box, although not today's tech!), I'll cut you in on 20 percent of my future sin (pledges)

  • @Audioslave52 Thank you for that comment i never understood what he meant by that

  • the best Creep song from the 90's was hands down TLC's...LMAO JK. there was like 3 Creep songs that year...STP, TLC, Radiohead. Then there was Around the World too.

  • Vedder and Cornell...fucking awesome!

  • i think this is the best song by temple of the dog

  • This song has nothin to do with religion just stating that there is so many different beleifs so dont judge!!

  • @craig76sun

What?? Of course it has everything to do with religion. He's mocking televangelism as well as the greed and hypocrisy of most organized religions. He's being ironic.

  • Is there some specail meaning of three country the word mentioned?"Korea or Canada or maybe Taiwan"

  • @bulldogfight to imply that the person being discussed is fake or inauthentic, like a Korean / Canadian / Taiwanese Jesus (when he's supposed to have born in Bethlehem. . .)

  • @bulldogfight They make cheap gifts in those places.

  • I remember first hearing this and thinking; this is probably the most underrated Soundgarden song, and then I realized I didn't even have the band right, just the singer.

  • awesome song thank ya

  • One more CD I lament losing during moves in my 20s. A great album from a great era of music.

  • This is what religion makes with people. Think.

  • one of my favorite songs ever..can i be saved?? love the banjo - sweet touch

  • love the album,, even the art but cornell and vedder are killerrr but who was this album a tribute too?? i forget

  • @gr4bong2hitta0 This album was dedicated to Andrew Wood of the band Mother Love Bone.

  • Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron......bad ass MFers.

  • im not a fan of pearl jam or eddie vedder, but hes not bad on this album

  • Don't worry about the album art. This is pretty much a tribute album. Cornell + Pearl Jam ftw!

  • i love the alum but i hate the cover art

  • Lovely!

  • Cameron rules!!!!
