We all bitch how life is hard for us these days but we realize that other people have to go to extreme measure just to stave off hunger. In the father's eyes what he did was correct, the boy be given better opportunity by selling him off, the proceeds to feed his brothers/sisters.

How to deal with this? I don't know, too complex to give an outright answer, except to offer the family prayers and an international's Agency HELP.
