  • Just when I thought you were a sick juggler (which you are) I see this video, and I was completely amazed the whole time, you've got crazy hand-eye coordination, keep at er

  • @darrene1450 I really appreciate that. check out marcus furtner. he has mad skills. probably more than I have.

  • Cheers for comment on my first attempt. You are mean with the devil stick dude, good stuff.

  • @MadEdstar3fro thank you for watching and commenting. Your stuff is good. We compare ourselves to better jugglers and become unaware of our actual skill level. We think we suck when everyone else sees how good we are.

  • I like how your kid is just standing there, or I think he is your kid, lol

  • yup. that is my son logan. He is used to devil sticks and juggling. It's an everyday thing for him.

  • All in all, though, that was still a pretty solid performance. Nice job at 3:00, I really didn't expect that!

  • This is my street style. devilsticks flowersticks is one of my videos that shows more of my stage style. Not my best video, but all of the tricks are stage oriented. When my leg heals I will do much better stuff than the trick at three minutes. I do use speed variation, Quite a bit in fact. I can augment speed with a single passer. I do appreciate you taking the time to give me advice. I have been stage and street performing for 16 years.

  • This video is just a one take wonder. I just push record and do whatever. I am just trying to get as many tricks out there as I possibly can. I have a ton of tricks That I forget to put on the videos. Usually each video has a few new tricks so I post them. I am currently working on a routine which I will post eventually. I haven't needed a routine for years as I haven't been on a stage for years. As far as my current videos, I just start whatever song is playing from the beginning or audioswap .

  • Nice job! Just a few tips for a more dynamic performance: firstly, when you're not in front of the people watching, try to make it quick, since we don't see the stick during those 2-3 seconds. Secondly, try to use variations of speed. For example, go really fast for a brief moment and then pause. That's a way to play with the crowd and that makes your act look even more difficult (when, in fact, it's not.) Finally, change your music (:P) and opt for a more flashy stick se we see it spin!

  • The circle walking style is something I adapted when I was a teenager jumping into b-boy circles with sticks. Stage style keeps most of the crowd from seeing what you are doing when everyone is in a circle. More challenging to show the whole crowd what you can do. Let me heal up and shake the rust off and I will do some quality video

  • Oh, believe me, I believe you! When you want the crowd to see and they're in circle, you have to spin your whole body, that's a no brainer. :P By the way, you've been a street performer for 16 entire years? Man, I've just been doing the sticks for 6 years on my side. Oh well, guess I'm ok too!

  • actually you are doing really well. keep sticking. I am posting a more stage style freestyle video tonight. Also my stick is undergoing reconstruction. It should be much easier to see. I was aware of the problem, but my stick plays so nice I didn't want to screw up a good thing. Turned out well though.

  • I have a new video up called "some advanced combinations". It represents more of a stage style though it is still just freestyle. I haven't put a new routine together yet
