Me and a co worker was at work at Quiznos and i saw trhe water coming up and I called the owner and she wanted us to put everything up and tough it out. I said fuck that i just bought a brand new scooter that week and i wasnt gonna let it go to protect ham... lol
yeah i was across the street sitting in the cvs parking lot watching the cars splashing through the water on the road. i remember thinking wtf is going on untill i got off the phone and my car was surrounded in water because i parked over one of the drains that was brining water up.
asshole, a lot of people I know lost their homes and everything they own. Nothing was replaced by insurance because they were all under the impression they didn't need flood insurance because it had never flooded like this before. My family was lucky not to have lost anything; we were trapped on an island in the middle of town for two days
The video looks like its from the inside of a car and the water outside appears high but the car is traveling pretty fast. Was the water that high where you were driving through?
Wow.. that is sad.. I live in Columbus, and thank God that we were all safe from this disaster.. We feel soooo sorry for the people that had to go threw this...
