just proves the kit works the heat does transfer to the motherboard case very happy has I have purchased the kit considering doing it for my RGH console also even though it has not rrod but it should keep the board from warping and prevent it :).

Hey my xbox no longer has heat pads on the back of the xbox, i use pennies, so if i do this mod should i continue to use the pennies or no, also do you need to bake it when it's done with the mod.

@swaghelper1996 If by "baking", you mean putting the fan so it's only blowing on the CPU, this is probably the most important part of the whole fix. If you Xbox works without doing it, it's because the cracked solder ball of cold solder joint is being held together just by pressure. By doing this low-temp reflow, it fixes the issue that was wrong with the Xbox motherboard.

@Bo0Mhe4d5hOT no by baking i meant take out the fan and let it overheat it's better for the xbox 360 than the towel trick, but it is still harmful, then just replace clamps and pads and it's good, i also did this uniclamp trick, but didn't get the number of washers right so it didn't work.

xbl checks security codes (something like that) in order for u get online.

in order for u to run homebrew and what not, those codes have to be removed.

so when xbl doesnt see them you get banned.

dude, 70c edram IS high. you should have spread the thermal compound around a bit before screwing the heat-sinks down.

Have any idea what i should do with the secondary code 0021 i had the e73 before i did anything, now i have 3 red lights. i have overheated twice now took off the artic silver best i could, dont have the pads on the ram any more. i have the same kit in this video message me or commet back please.

You cant use xex w/o a jtag... i never said anything about it appearing magically either, YOU put xex menu code folder on a hd/disc/ or usb drive then you can boot from demo library and mod games or play games with out disc....

question, did you have the e74 prior to doing this fix? did you reflow or use any heatgun or the sorts to the mobo before installing the dual x-clamp fix?

i too have a jtag and am currently experiencing the e74 with the error code 1022.

strangely the cpu is already affixed with the xclamp fix, but not the gpu which is where i think the problem lies. any reply would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
