@OFJehutyV2 You just explained why he wasn't lying. He drops an asteroid to eradicate all human life off of the earth, so that they would permanently stop ruining it. Sure, it would damage the earth, but without people it would restore itself much faster and eventually prosper just as people in space would. It's a bit extreme, but completely in line with his ideals all along.

@OFJehutyV2 the great thing about the Gundam series having major ideological conflicts between two sides (other than the fact that that is what war IS, two factions with different ideas fighting over those very ideas) is that when looked at from an unbiased perspective most of the time no one is right.

i like chars words, leave the earth for a while so it can heal itself and search for a place where we can exist without causing trouble... ever wondered if something like this was never been thought of in real life? @ChaosZack08 Well, in the case of Kai, he did develop into a badass (despite being initially cowardly) throughout the original series, seeing as his body count amongst the feddies was arguably second only to amuro (disregarding post 1978 canon) during the one year war, and he ISN'T even a newtype!

i @flipcherri I finished watching Zeta months ago, and agree with you! Seyla and Kai have badass trench coats! Nuff said! Kai is a good pilot and possibly an ace by the end of the OYW, although Ramba Ral and Anavel Gato are probably equal or better in terms of piloting skill and they're Zeon Old Types.

Here they take control of the Federation assembly so that Char can deliver a speech denouncing the evils of the Titans. Jerid and his comrades attempt to destroy Dakar's communications center in order to stop the broadcast, but their actions serve to turn both the politicians and the public against the Titans.
