I've already beaten the game... right now I'm just getting all the armor sets I missed on my first playthrough... NG+ is surprisingly easy; I got to and killed Quelaag in what felt like 20 minutes lol. Anyways, I just got the weird bobble head's gear and ornstein's armor (it sucks when you do something wrong in this game like killing the fat guy first and accidentally murdering priscilla with white dragon breath and cant go back -_-) so now all I need is dark wraith, paladin and thorns :)

@UmadBRO1999 **before someone corrects me, I realize I said killing the fat guy first was a mistake... when in fact thats what I should have done the first time lol. and let me take this opportunity to say the Stray Demon was actually alot harder in NG+, but I quickly figured out that sticking close to him and letting him shove his ass in your face is the best way to avoid massive damage ^^

warning to everyone, as of patch 1.05 obtaining the armor is glitched, some people (including me) are unable to get the armor despite killing black phantom leeroy, PUT OFF killing nito and leeroy until From fixes this.

I know this has relatively nothing to do with the video, but I wanted to ask - do you know which weapons (and which upgrade path) are the best for a character with mainly a STR/VIT/END build? I don't really have anything in Faith and Intelligence, which seems to scale up a lot of weapons - and my DEX is nothing special either. :< NG+ just makes my weapons seem weak. D:

I upgraded Sanctus to +15 and had no increase in HP regen; it was still the same 2HP/sec. Stability increased each level, but that was it. I then reverted back to Sanctus +10 & upgraded Divine Sanctus +5 -- thinking that the divine upgrade would be the ticket since it was a paladin item, & description says something about diminished power -- but that yields the same 2HP/sec regen, & no stability upgrades. Maybe covenants effect certain weapons & modifications? Way of White for divine maybe?

Not on Sanctus as far as I've seen with full Normal (+15) and Divine (+5) upgrades. It was pretty disappointing.

There must be more weapons which scale with covenants other than the Dark Hand, even though I have no evidence for this; it just seems silly that they would only do that kind of scaling with one covenant. Unfortunately I can't join Way of White right now because Petrus and Rhea are both dead, so I can't rule-out that aspect until my next cycle, though I am doubtful.

@DriftSpaceZero from what I've seen covenants should have no effect. I'd still consider sanctus to be useful as any hp regen at all in this game would probably break it in half.

I got a question. Im making a faith build character right now and im trying to get the most damage out of him. Ive seen that you have been using the gravelord sword which looks like a great sword to use. I wanna know if the gravelord sword is best for a faith build. Im at 16 str right now at around lvl 70 and i dont know if its worth it putting more points into str for just the sword sinc im a faith build.Im using a occult battle axe+4 at the moment.

I think the sanctus heals 2 hp per 1 second, I dont think upgrading it helps the hp recovery. At that time I had about 30 faith. I've never heard of faith helps hp recovery rate go up, but perhaps thats true, I'll test it out now that I have 52 faith.
