I have flown BA for many years and I have noticed a drop in service in the last few years. Such a shame. Still a great airline, but its not what it was. However, I would rather fly BA than any other airline.
BA have quite a young fleet; I would sooner fly with them than most other airlines. They are expensive because they fly from Heathrow which is the nearest airport to London and very congested. They are still a quality airline and offer a great in flight service; and before you ask; I am not an employee of BA. Fly the flag!
Used to fly as crew on Tristars, great planes and so much room esp the galley downstairs (fags and drinks and laughs) penny lane at the back and the two lifts in the centre. Crew who had a laugh with the passengers and passengers who looked after the crew.
Now Pricing themselves outof business already one of the most expensive airlines to fly with and the planes and flightin general is no better Stopped giving them my business ages ago
are soverign holidays still going, we used them when i was younger, first time to greece in july 1980, with them, and a ba tristar LHR-ATH ba used to be brill, there tristars were nice to, does anyone no, where in greece that was..?
Sovereign were a subsidiary of British Airways at one point. They were the airlines tour operator. After various by outs and mergers I think they are now part of the TUI group. Thomsons Prestige collection is the former Sovereign..... I think... :)
The ole British Airways cabin crew uniform looked so cool! I like the Tristar too. Pity most aircraft is so generic these days.

The Tristar was and always will be my favorite plane, apart from Concorde.
Let's not get into Concorde right now though...

Each to their own Stav. Who do you give your business to these days?

@cpnstav Why would a business price themselves out of it? Perhaps its because peoples wages haven't kept up.
