  • Yep thomas and guy manuel directed the movie look at the credits in the movie

  • The only payment I'd need is to actually be in the movie. Keeping a helmet would be awesome too. Looks like a fun set.

  • Wonder if they got to keep the helments :O

  • WHAT THE FUCK \o/

  • You are one lucky lucky girl... Love Daft Punk to peices!! :D

  • You are so lucky! :)

  • how the heck did you get on there?!!!

  • Hello, did you meet Thomas an Guy at any time?

  • How did you get a job doing that? I'd love to do something like that! You met Daft Punk and everything, you are so lucky.

  • @TrukTang The 2 guys that are "Daft Punk" wernt the guys in the suits they were actors. Just type electroma in wikipedia and read the cast and the plot parts.

p.s. I posted that coment over 2 years ago, I'm surprised anyone cares xL

  • Hey, that's independence! I've ben through there on the way to Mammoth.

I prefer that side going up to Yosemite rather than the boring San Joaquin valley :)

  • Dear Ms. Athena,

What was it like on the set? Had you ever heard of Daft Punk? If so, were you a fan? And how did you learn about the oppertunity to work on their film? Did they ever appear on the set? Please respond. Thank you!

  • lol looks fun.

were the human faces really that messed up?

  • I would trade everything I have right now just to have been an extra in the film, YOU ARE SO LUCKY!!!! (minus not being able to keep the helmet) sucks you couldn't.

  • i am soooooooo jealous

  • I really want to know... Was the set fun and How many helmets were there?? must have been a blast :P

  • ok i want to know, can you see out of the helmet and if you can how and like what was it like wearing it

  • lol

  • did you kept the helmets???

  • I doubt that the extras helmets have any led :P

  • @CapNudillos neither do Daft Punk's they gave up on the LED when they released human after all

  • It must have been really great to work with the guys as an extra. I freakin' love Daft Punk.

  • cali

  • Where was this filmed at exactly!?

  • bejn il bajd ux xaqq ta sormi u meta nahra harja ta kristu joqghodu jilaquh.

  • dido:)

  • goddamn it you are so lucky :O

  • i want that helmet : )

  • being a robot... that's my dream job!

  • see the whole movie and you will say ,thanks god for make me human

  • :(... I Wanna be on the set... your Lucky! and also did you ge to keep the helmets??? That would be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool if you did!!

  • she told me she did not get one. they are to expansive.

  • my my, did you get to keep the helmet? those stage props (supposedly) sell for 14k, which is ridiculous.

  • thats so awesome.. did u get to meet daft punk while u were there?

  • thomas and guy didn't do the film they were actors i know it took me a while to get over it too

  • yeah i kno that there was actors playing them lol.. but didnt they direct the film? i thought they might b on set if they did

  • @jake7manu why? :(

  • @jake7manu Awwwee.... fuck

  • @jake7manu Are you 100% sure???

  • @dandanik Yea i'm pretty sure, i read somewhere that said they helped direct the film which makes sense lol

  • @jake7manu Wait.... what?

  • @jake7manu It's hard to be in costume acting in a movie and then directing it. I think they did a great job finding actors that looked physically like them. (In body proportions)

  • @jake7manu they did do the film, but someone else played them, idk why but read the credits

  • @jake7manu i thought they were the directors... not the actors

  • @jake7manu The credits clearly show that Guy and Thomas directed, not acted.

  • YEAH!

    did you?!

  • Lucky!!! :(

  • relaxed recently on the grass there in front of the courthouse in independence, ca. kept thinking about electroma. how on earth did you all keep cool? it was hella hot there!

  • LUCKY

  • I would so run away with that helmet lol =)

  • omg that is soooooo cool

    more info please

  • did u met daft punk?

  • i was watching electroma recently and i have to ask you are you the waitress when the main characters stop at a red light and see the guy reading the newspaper?

  • Did you meet Thomas Bangalter?!

  • Awesome that you worked in the movie, you are really funny, hehe.

Also, i wanna ask you.. What's the meaning of the film. I think it is a reflection of life, and it tell us that we have to be better persons.. At least i think that,.

  • i beleive its main prurpose is that you cannot be something your not

like how they tried to become humans but it didnt work out so well

  • WHOA! You totally misunderstood the film!

O.K. to put it in the correct line, the only meaning can know the authors itself, but everyone can interpet it by his own way.

But, they don't want you to discourage trying your own way! It says that you should a tleast try to change something if you really want to. Thats the way I see the message they wanted to send.

  • the helmets in this electroma are fake

    well not fake

but there not the same ones that the lead members of daft punk wear that light up using LED

  • yeah just so you guys know those helmets are made by this guy who made them with like this speacial kind of like screen so the can make images on them but daft punk had to pay them alot of money and that guy only made them for daft punk and he wont sell you one for any amount of money

  • no they were just replicas

  • wrong. alternic inc in california makes them. there currently for sell. 65.000$ for both. and you must get permitoin from daft punk to buy one.

  • they don't sell them anymore. and it wasn't 65k for a helmet. I think it was around 15-20k the other 45-50k would be obtaining the license to make them.

but there is a pdf guide (if you would really call it a guide) that the company made, because they were frustrated with the amount of emails regarding how to make the helmets. it has a list of what you need to do, but it isnt step by step or anything. just very vague

  • where is this pdf file?

  • what audi said, google it. It's not what you think it is.

  • my dad bought one a couple years ago for 63000

  • proof it

  • did you get to keep the helmets?

  • i really want one of those helmets...they are so amaazing

  • You're so lucky!! Damnit I want one of those helmets.

  • Hey girl,

I have been reading the comments and everyone keeps asking me if we got to keep those helments...I personaly was so happy to give them back after the shoot. I Never wanted to put one on again. God it was so hot in there. Anyway just wanted to say hi...talk to you later on myspace :)

  • lucky..

  • i'm seeing the movie tonight! by the way, you're quite the cutie. ;)

  • when did hte movie come out?

  • What'd be really cool is if they put LED's in there. I would.

Question. I am a fan of Daft Punk, but have never seen the movie. Do you or anyone here know where I can find a copy of it?

  • I know! just tip torrent + electroma in google lol

  • google.

  • what?

  • i always wanted to ask someone who wore one of those helmets this, so, have you ever sneezed while wearing one??? i always thought it would be kinda funny to ask. not to be gross or anything...... :)

  • Personally... I didn't sneeze. LOL. I'm sure someone did though! It was definitely HOT in there.

  • OMG i am so jealous, did you get to keep the helmet, and if so, is there any hope in the world that i can get one for under 65,000 dollars?

  • Keep the helmet, I WISH! They were pretty awesome. Now that I think about it... I should have stashed one away and sold it on e-bay. :)~

  • YEAH! wow you would get over 1000000$ !

  • @Athena007 Oh, you didn't get to keep it? I thought everyone who was in the film kept their helmet. I would just be honored to be in the film in the first place.

  • firstly, they are masks, non fucnitoning, and hte full working helmet is 65 000$ ...7G to make and rest is Copy right and legal fees

  • Hey girl, You are too funny, i think we all got a bit crazy on that set...i know i got wasted everynight and was hungover with those damn helments on. HAHA Do you have any other videos...because you should so put them up.

  • That's all I have video wise. Sorry.

  • okay :'(

  • you were on the set???? WOOOOOOOOOW!!!! you are this women ! wow!

  • Ya, I worked on the film. That's me in the pink. So... where did I get it? From my camera. :) heehee. It was a pretty fun time for sure. Lots of silliness with the helmets which were were told to be VERY careful with because each one is worth a couple thousand bucks or so.

  • realy ? i knew thet they have to be expansive! i wish i could play in a daft punk movie YOU ARE SO LUCKY! :D wow i love this movie watch it 1200000 times xD i know that hero robot 1 and 2 waren't play by guy manuel de homem christo and thomas bangalter but were they on the set? did you meet them? how you get in this movie?? what did they pai you? xD sorry but i real fan of this movie!
