  • my mum has the suzuki swift, she got the auto, i think it was a mistake, with small engines i think manual is a must, but its still an awesome car, amazing on fuel, never misses a beat, great air con as well.

  • mine is desert brown colour

  • the 2009-present Suzuki Alto is assembled in

    Manesar, Haryana, India

  • bahahahahah 3 cylender engine!!!!! I cant imagine how slow that is... i have a honda civic 2005 with a 4 cylender and its sooo slow like 0-60 in 13 seconds

  • @iamastupidhead84 my alto does 13 seconds too,and it s pretty fast for a 1litre engine car...

  • Hi Domza84, Glad to see you like your Alto. We're a big fan here of it at the NRMA and with some of the new, cheaper players in the market dealers, as you've discovered, are willing to bargain.

  • Nice car, I just bought one a couple of days ago. I got the Alto GLX with a free upgraded Indie package (bonnet & headlight protectors, Indie decal & Bluetooth handsfree), I also got a free upgrade to metallic paint. You get a lot of kit for you money (ABS with BA, ESC, Traction control, 6 airbags, keyless entry plus more). We got the auto with a few extras such as reverse sensors, tint, paint protect & 5 year warranty but the best thing is it 5.3L/100km consumption considering I travel over 70

  • so does 4.8km / L? our ... it spends this car

  • @yonek2008 no, it doesn't do 4.8 km/l. that would be horrible. it does 4.8 litres/100km, which is about 20.8km/l.

  • Is the reliability of Suzuki questionable? I've always wondered about that...

  • @5233andy Suzuki's are VERY reliable. My brothers 07 Corolla has broken down more than my 07 Aerio. And by that I mean in the span of about 4 years his car has mad 4 major repairs, while mine has had 0. All Suzuki's are built in Japan with quality #1 priority!

  • In Israel Alto comes only with 2 windows. Rear windows and like coupes, don't go down.

  • Alto or Swift? Better?

  • Awesome footage. I got some good information on this from fasteconomicalcars (.) com

  • Xddd

  • i love my geo metro 248,000 miles and running like a champion!! i would buy this car in a heartbeat.

  • - Made in India ... :D

  • @rahulgosh1 right...:P

  • it have rear sash-windows !!! in Europe not

  • looking to buy this one, but also, its up against the yaris and fiesta....so i dont know....i am open to suggestions

  • @Stawiarz1234 that's cheaper to buy and run....and one is for sure,it will never brake down

  • Uh, I had a 1997-3 cylinder Geo- Metro, 5pd........a great little commuter car. If I drove carefully I could get 60 mpg, and this is without many of the newer fuel saving technologies (variable valve timing, auto shutdown at stop, ultra lean burn mode, gas direct injection to name a few). I could see a little car like the Geo getting close to 100 mpg with some reworking of the systems. Problem is that little car would cost 20 grand, would it even sell? maybe if gas goes to 5 bucks a gallon.

  • - Made in India .... :)

  • I'm 17, and this will be my first car!

  • does this have 4 seats or 5 seats in Australia?

  • @tri400 4 seats

  • It's about $7000 here..

  • in italy i have never seen this car

  • please tell me how many cylendars are in the alto is it V4 or V3

  • @hashimman V3

  • Oh happy 17th birthday son. we got you a suzuki alto! :O

  • small cars are so much fun

  • Lisa Kable looks like a man, with long hair..

  • It's great that we are seeing more Australian reviews on YouTube. Keep it up. However everything just sounded so scripted, but that could just be me. At least it's better than watching the Australian version of Top Gear.

  • in india this is sold as suzuki a-star. i own one & its a great car in terms of mileage

  • In Dubai they call this car celerio we hve a alto but tht doesn't. Look cooler thn this

  • I dunno why do i like this car ... but somehow i do.... something that ive never imagined to say cuz ive never liked small cars. I got a Nissan Xtrail 2010 but i wanna get this one as my second car. I really liked it when i got to Suzuki´s with my gf to check out what they got.

  • @Hilderith

I've got a Nissan Qashqai as my main car and I'm looking to get a city car as an inexpensive runabout. I like the looks of the Alto compared to the near identical Nissan Pixo. Also in the running are the Fiat Panda, Toyota Aygo / Citroen C1 / Peugeot 107. There's lots of interest again in small economical cars in the UK due to recent fuel rises. Parts of the Alto's interior feel flimsy, yet owners reviews are glowing and the car is proving to be mechanically robust.

  • @Hilderith HAHA! guess what guys... I bought this car today in brown color. Will post a video!

  • the name of this car in the phillipines is SUZUKI CELERIO.., im confused..,

  • very nice

  • Just a really basic car but I'd buy this instead of any Korean car for sure.

  • Starting at $12,490 its a pretty expensive first car.

  • Why dont you get Roof Racks? Then you can carry way more stuff :-)

  • Love this car, it looks really beautiful, but how is the gear system working? I heard some bad things about it being 'sticky' and a bit too tight.

  • @DoubleBubbleBoy the gearbox is just great

  • I´ve just bought this car in Germany and am happy with it.A few downsides are no night position 4 the internal mirror,no grip above passenger door.Being in germany, mine is left hooker and the mirror under the sunshade is on my side, the drivers side.Think suzuki forgot about that.
