a chrysler 2.7 v6, though a piece of scrap, will get up and go like its nobody's business, the ford 3.8 liter v6 wasn't quite enough for the continental. to me it was kind of sluggish, so of course the chrysler is gonna outrun it.
Honestly, if people use synthetic oil like you're supposed to, the 2.7 can be as dependable as any other engine. It's the sludge from other kinds of oil that killed 'em.
The tires I believe were brand new... I'm pretty sure that's after I replaced them... either way i normally would have, but i was kinda caught up in the moment... thought i was gonna have my ass handed to me lol
I have the 2.7 and when mine let go it was the water pump that failed and then dropped it's bearing into the oil pan and who knows where the went from their. just have your timing chain done when you get one and you'll be fine also watch out for your water temp these engines run at around 215 degree's I"d recomend adding Water wetter or something to bring the temp down.
yes, and most of them have to do with the sludge buildup that causes issues with the tensioner for the cam drive, which is why i run full synthetic oil and change my filter every 1000 miles and my oil every 3000

oh wow these are some fast US tuner cars lol
gtruhljo 5 months ago
@gtruhljo Your definition of a 'tuner' car is a little off considering one is a luxury car and the other a mid sized family sedan
