i fought all 5 of them but also a sixth, i fought a named dragon that looked like a frost dragon but used fire. i cant remember its name because it was unpronounceable

@harryb12993 what you fought was a named dragon, like Parthanaax , Aldiun, Mirmulir and odaahviing. unlike Dragon,Blood Dragons, Frost Dragons, Elder Dragons and Ancient Dragons, Named Dragons only appear once, once there dead there dead for good. Name Dragons only come out of Dragon Mounds

Parthanaax is a dragon in skyrim, mirmulir is also a dragon in skyrim and unpronounceable might not be a word, so to make you happy im doing this: Un-pronounceable. that definitely makes sense. Question, I'm a noob at skyrim but how do you do free cam and how did you make the dragons attack you and not attack you. And it seems in the video you weren't taking any damage at all. Was this a mod of some sort?

@TrashPie Yeah this is on PC, so i used the tilde key to open console "~" and then I typed tfc and pressed enter, i can't quite remember the code but it was to freeze all AI monsters, google the console commands for skyrim pc, hope this helped!

It would be really cool if Bethesda would release a patch for xbox/ps3/pc which you could download for free from the store, which makes dragons / any enemy stronger (= they can take more damage) because in my opinion its kinda lame when you run around with lvl 40 and you can almost 3 hit every dragon you encounter

@skyrimXProX Hmmm which Dragon huh? Alduin would be cool..love his look, his dialogue, plus his varied attacks. But Odahviing would be cool, independant, head strong and a fierce fighter? Sounds like my kind of character, plus he looks awesome, his entire look is unique as the only red dragon in the entire game.

I wish you could make an alliance with the dragons and the Imperials/Stormcloaks (whichever faction you choose) around the end of the main storyline if you favor the dragons. They are such magnificent creatures and, you know, riding a dragon wouldn't be too bad ;)

hey. sorry to say there's more than 5 types. there's red dragons green dragons fire dragons frost dragons blood dragons elder dragons ancient dragons. then there's skeleton dragons. plus the named summoned dragons witch can vary in difficulty. then Paarthurnax and aldiun. that's in order from easiest to hardest. but in side each type of dragon there's between 3 to 5 colors and styles some colors are a little harder depending on its attack move. such as tail smashing fire/frost breath or bit

@ArgonianLord Heh, there are plenty once you finish the main questline and keep Paarthurnax alive. but many of us are now Independent, we go our own path when Alduin is gone. 'we were made to dominate'.

@Naafalilargus Yeah i've noticed. I keeped Paarthurnax alive because hes awesome and i like him as much as i like Odahviing. I've seen friendly dragons flying over almost every city now. And yes i know, you dragons go your own way now that the Alduin is gone.

Do watch out for the stupid nords and the blades though. They so hate you'r kind as you may have noticed. I play as argonians so im a reptile my self. Reptiles and dragons ftw.

i was once attacked by a dragon that suddenly became invisible except for the bleeding, all i could see was the blood on the dragons skin, and i didnt even get its soul it just died. And then another time i was attacked by a dragon with very low res textures and it basically looked like its skin was all melted....

@Emanlaerymton1 It depends mostly on the player. Dragon<Blood Dragon<Frost Dragon<Elder Dragon<Ancient Dragon is how the scale goes. Personally I never experienced a Frost Dragon before I started running into Elder Dragons. My first showed up as I was trying to fight of a bunch of Forsworn and an Elder Dragon.

Aside from their unique names they aren't special at all. Think the Dragon encounter at the western watchtower but happening randomly outside of a quest.
