@sexyboi142 Actually it isn't, it is better. My 2006 Vue (not view) has 94k miles of abuse, and hasn't faltered. Parts are cheap, so even if it does break, it won't cost me much and I'll be able to repair it at home with hand-tools. The only issues I have had with this car have been with the Honda-sourced drivetrain. Most people are surprised when I tell them that; I certainly wasn't expecting that when I bought it.
@qwikz28 im well aware that i spelled Vue wrong seeing as how i typed the word i was thinking about and i was just asking if this car had japanese realiabilty.
@flatblackstrat uhh honda used a CVT in the insight back in 2000, toyota has been using a cvt since 1999, honda used a CVT back in the late 90s in the civic HX. Chevy was pretty late. and alot of are glad they got rid of it
I bought this car when it was new four years ago and it is one of the worst cars i have bought once i got up to 50 thousand miles the whole car just wore out it also has trouble starting i would not recommend this car
Engy.... you don't say what model you have - v4 or v6? etc.... Look at all the reviews on this car at other sites incl. people love it... Your one bad experience without detail should not disuade anyone from seriously looking at this model.
Yeh that NEAT rear cargo cage is super flimsy... were looking at 03-04 Vue's for my wife, would this be better then a same year ford escape... crash rating, feul economy, offroad, comfort
We're very pleased and can attest to how well the Saturn Vue 3.5l V6 Vtec performs overall. It's a great overall value, solid performance in terms of power, as well as very fuel efficient! GM did a great job of pulling the superb Honda V6 Vtec powerplant and Honda tranny in the Vue. It's truly a different animal all together with this configuration.
A Honda motor in a GM vehicle!? What a disgrace!!!

The trans is Honda too.

Wow GM made a mistake getting rid of their most fuel efficient brand. Saturn was using CVT before many other companies did in the states.
