story reminds me of the amerikanization of the Meiji era, ironikally Noctis looks very Japanese and Stella looks very white Amerikan. think about it...firearms are banned in Noctis' kingdom and kling to the ways of old *kough* Tokugawa *kough*
It has no release date, but Tokyo Game Show in Japan is next month Sept. 16-19, and Nomura confirmed that there's going to be a small trailer that'll show actual gameplay. It'll probably make its way onto youtube eventually, so all we can do is be patient.
Even though the playback's a little buggy, the visual detail already looks more realistic than FFXIII. The engine here looks so graphically real, it's scary...very scary.
If this PS3 exclusive could look at least half as good when its released, that would mean something for Sony/S-E fans.

Thats cause unlike north american developers who don't mind pushing out crap, with the exception of blizzard and a few others. The Japanese want to re-sync the lip movements so it doesn't look like a dub job

Honestly I think the 'light' just has something to do with heaven. This game is meant to be more modern, so we don't have to think out of the box as much as we do for most RPGs.

Man The one really big thing besides the other thing that impressed me is that final fantasy`s hair it so real live i mean most anime`s have hair that barley moves around but ff really make the hair so live like with hair moving like that and so many strands of hair its impressive!!!

I'm much more excited about this game than I was for XIII. Versus sounds amazing beyond comparison, and you've got Tetsuya Nomura directing and Yoko Simomura doin the music so everything will most likely turn out amazing. I expect Versus to be better than XIII (which was already a great game) and possibly better than even IX or X.
Wouldn't it be awesome if the made a full Fabula Nova Crystallis game, where every character from the mythology came together in one big game!

Honestly I think the 'light' just has something to do with heaven. This game is meant to be more modern, so we don't have to think out of the box as much as we do for most RPGs.

Man The one really big thing besides the other thing that impressed me is that final fantasy`s hair it so real live i mean most anime`s have hair that barley moves around but ff really make the hair so live like with hair moving like that and so many strands of hair its impressive!!!

On a different note, anyone else notice the shimmering crystal shards or whatever in the other trailers? Remind anyone of Oerba? These games *are* supposed to be in the same universe/world. Wonder what it means.

well just to let you know Im working on a dvd of Final Fantasy Versus XIII Im in pre-production right now so this project wont be done maybe until the summer but with determination you can do anything i just wanted to tell the audience this and you its really suppose to be a surprise. It sounds like garbage because Im not telling you exactly what Im doing so......anyway once the end product is done Im going to rip the video on my pc then upload it to show all Final Fantasy Versus XIII fans

I'm much more excited about this game than I was for XIII. Versus sounds amazing beyond comparison, and you've got Tetsuya Nomura directing and Yoko Simomura doin the music so everything will most likely turn out amazing. I expect Versus to be better than XIII (which was already a great game) and possibly better than even IX or X.
