There was also a litany of other assorted disaster claims. Those claims FAILED. It's that simple.

Size played a part in why the comet survived such temperatures. It was originally thought to be around 200m, but since it survived, all it meant was that the comet was a little larger than previously thought, perhaps around 500m.

It could cause an Earth quake if the big planet is maybe 10,000 km from Earth's surface but not from that distance. Also an external cause for Earth quakes should show up like the seat tides in the charts. Twice a day a very distinct peak. Not a one time event.
Also what you call a theory is what they would call an "guess" in science. A scientific theory already has massive amounts of scientific evidences.

More lies from NASA? Deep Impact evidence of Tempel1 proved that comets have very little ice or water to create such a massive coma and tail. @0050emtee Type in "Iowa Robotic telescope of NEO 2005 YU55" in YouTube. One of the guys who helped create the time-lapse footage said that YU55 was moving at about 8 arc-seconds per second, which is pretty darn fast for any object.

(And yes, you are straw-manning both Dr Morrison and biken with your snowball diatribe.) The issue is this: Doomsayers, such as Alex Retrov and TerralO3, made significant claims of disaster upon Earth on the big alignment date in Sept, 2011. There was also a litany of other assorted disaster claims. Those claims FAILED. It's that simple.

@sangstar1 While it is true that comets are made of mostly ice, that does not mean 100% water, there are other elements like Biken stated. Comets are commonly referred to as "dirty snowballs".
Size played a part in why the comet survived such temperatures. It was originally thought to be around 200m, but since it survived, all it meant was that the comet was a little larger than previously thought, perhaps around 500m.

Nope alignments cannot cause Earth quakes.
It could cause an Earth quake if the big planet is maybe 10,000 km from Earth's surface but not from that distance. Also an external cause for Earth quakes should show up like the seat tides in the charts. Twice a day a very distinct peak. Not a one time event.
Also what you call a theory is what they would call an "guess" in science. A scientific theory already has massive amounts of scientific evidences.

More lies from NASA? Deep Impact evidence of Tempel1 proved that comets have very little ice or water to create such a massive coma and tail. @0050emtee Type in "Iowa Robotic telescope of NEO 2005 YU55" in YouTube. One of the guys who helped create the time-lapse footage said that YU55 was moving at about 8 arc-seconds per second, which is pretty darn fast for any object.
I don't know if it's good enough or not.
