What if I want to buy an SUV just to drive around town? I am free to do so. Saying otherwise is socialist. Doesn't matter what's responsible or not, we are free to be irresponsible if we so choose and can afford to do so.

i don't have a problem with people driving suvs as long as people use them for what they're made for: towing, hauling, or offroading.

If that's your attitude (mixed with swearing and aggressivness too) then you cannot truly care about your children. To care for your children means to live responsibly and care for them and make sure they have a good future.
