  • hitlers buzz saw i can see why

  • insane that bi pod is really absorbing all that recoil so the shooter can be more accurate

  • i would hate to run at the gunners operating that

  • RoF of that is ridiculous.

  • Just amazing how quickly that gets thru ammo. Still used today. What a design.

  • one evil bastard of a gun

  • "The gun with a very high rate of fire, you couldn't count the individual rounds fired." This is the best MG indeed...

  • And always remember, its bark is worse than its bite! How did ANYONE believe that nonsense?

  • @shaddowmoses91 What were they suposed to say "its going to chew your ass off" ?

  • sounds good

  • No wonder you always saw pictures of german machinegunners carrying extra rounds. That thing must be a supply sergeant's nightmare to keep fed.

  • I want that @ my house when the zombies come

  • If im not mistaken the MG42's where used in World War 2, but you can buy them just not full auto unless you have a class 3 license. but just about semi auto gun you can convert into full auto. Some are as easy as just file down the firing pin or buying another part from a differnt country and have it shiped to your front door. Just dont get caught, its a felony and you can spend 25 years or more in prison for it....

  • DAMN!! I cant imagine having to run at one of these up some beach! Unreal!

  • DEAR SANTA....

  • my girlfriend is from Lithuania, they still use this MG in their armed forces, a true testament to the outstanding design and longevity of this awesome weapon. it must have been a terrifying experience being on the receiving end of that kind of rate of fire.

  • My heart is with my country. the battle is with my enemy. as an american i love our full proof weaponery. being retired army 20+, i would take the german mg-42 over the m-60 echo-4 to date. if we would give up the m-249 as the u.s saw and work on a mg that has a fr like the mg-42 bring it. we could use it.U.S.A FOREVER. maybe those guys from dillon could help us.

  • MG42 is best 8mm gun on the world.

  • @miroalamafian best 8mm machine gun

  • the best weapons in the world are the ak74 ak47 mg42 scar m249 m60 svd dragunov and the g36

  • awesome high fire rate.....

  • i love this gun <3

  • beautiful weapon

  • i would have shit my pants if I heard this in battle

  • 1200 shots per minute 1200 posibilades of dying in a minute

  • Ah... The golden standard for all machine guns ever since...

  • 2 of the most "short lived" soldiers during WWII were machine gunners and medics.

  • @hyunki0510 i think it was quite the opposite...when machinegunners fired their mg42...and had infantry support...allied soldiers could only take cover and be pinned down...

  • @hyunki0510 Thats because they were the two most important infantry targets. Kill a machine-gunner, save 10 friendlies, and kill a medic, kill 10 more enemy soldiers

  • @hyunki0510 man-portable flamethrower also

  • @hyunki0510 from infantry yes

  • During my military time in germany I used this baby. It´s a beast, really. At exercises in forests, whe used it to cut down small trees to make a camping fire. The only problem is, that the gun is so fast, that the tube is very fast very very hot, and you have to be carefull, that it not explodes. Thats why you have a second one to change, that the first one can cool down. By the way, I really think, till today the best machine gun in the world. Its fast, great penetrating power and steadfast

  • @kaemml1 bro, there are two barrels for change, but its an awsome gun anyways^^

  • I really want to see a video with a MG42 in the distance... Its one of the wildest sounds I have ever heard.

  • DEAR SANTA...

  • this weapon killed many american soldiers in WW2

  • Those things are so much fun to shoot

  • NOW WONDER THEY CALLED IT HITLERS ZIPPER

  • BUZZSAW

  • MG-FOURTYTWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • i showed this video to my grandpa, next thing i know, he thinks hes back at normandy and he tries to shovel out my "german shit filled heart" with a spoon.

  • @lsuman8883 Tell your grandpa he has my respect. but i dont get it . what did he do to you again ?

  • @lsuman8883 It's a nightmare for you to show him because all the thing's he has seen at the landing . Semper Fi to your grandpa

  • Hitler's Ripper

  • doesn't it has "Hitler's Zipper" as nickname?

  • quick burst w/ MG42=400 rounds downrange

  • Germans still use that design in their military, been upgraded of course. They know what works.

  • @IronHorse2007

Yes, I was trained with that gun in the late 80's when I served in the German Air Force. It is accurate, reliable and easy to handle.

  • @IronHorse2007 And many other countries still use it.

  • @IronHorse2007

Sweden too uses the MG3 (as its called now) in our Leopard 2 tanks (also German)

  • @IronHorse2007 in the bundeswehr ist the mg3 version

  • @IronHorse2007 Thats why we based the M60 off of this design.. They realized it would be more accurate and bettter on ammo so they reduced the rounds per minute and changed where you load new barrels.. among other differences..

  • @IronHorse2007 Germans know a thing or two about guns.

  • Who create it? xD

  • By far the best MG made during that era.

  • @vcdna1 and still is...

  • this gun is freakin amazing

  • just imagine those US soldiers stepping to the beach with these shooting at them, phew. RESPECT

  • it is surely only a question of time until here again running up the Americans claimed was an American invention mg

  • say hello to my big friend

  • OMG in WW2 on Omaha it was killer !

  • The almighty BONE SAW !!!

  • Probably the best MG i WW2 ;D

  • du u live in russia

  • love the sound...

  • German simple & gruesome technology of death !! I would pee my fuckin pants on omaha beach O.o

  • Very nice.

  • this gun has cuased mental trauma to WWII soldiers

  • Very good weapon the MG42(Hitlersäge) very fast and good range the 7.92*57mm Mauser bullets! in germany we can`t shooting full-autos,silencers,flashlight for weapons, germany is a shit country! i love this, in usa can shooting and have no problems,i shoot K98(7,92),Mosin Nagant(7.62),Remington700(7.62),AK74semi-automatic(5.54),Heckler&Koch MK.308 and Pistols 45ACP,9mmPara

  • @PiratkaP1000

Sir weaponcraft.. 65 Mill Death people . what the reason for borders on german weapon in german?

    Good boy..

  • man, that thing is deadly. Imagine being on the other end, assaulting a beach like Omaha and a well trained Wehrmacht is firing at u. I'm so, surprised the Normandy beaches were taken.

  • @akilla214u2c They overheat very easy are not as reliable as you think.

Still very good weapons. The unreliability gave the allies an atvantage. The American browning .30 cal was more reliable even though it didnt shoot as fast. The water cooled browning was even better.

  • @akilla214u2c

    17.000 kills on that day

  • holy shit

  • Need to set this up on the US/Mexico border and use it on illegals that try and sneak in.

  • @StopIllegalAliens01 SICK MAN YOU ARE.

  • You can just imagine the damage these things did to landing forces at normandy. Formidable weapon. Thanks for the vid!

  • This is what can be called love at first sight...

  • rapid

  • intimidating rof

  • Beast

  • I read that USA soldiers were so shocked by this gun that the Army made a training video about how to face an MG42 in battle... not surprising

  • @ANDREAILB No wonder they were afraid, it was a hell of a weapon design. It was so succesful it's even in use today, as the MG3 in the Bundeswehr (German army), with slight modification, of course.

  • @ANDREAILB True and i saw the video on a TV show on the U.S. in WW2 and it was mainly just saying (and it actully said this)that "the bark is bigger than its bite!" and same with the Brits but i have no idea what they said in the video

  • @navySEALteam5 Yes, they lied to their soldiers to motivate them. In fact, it's bite is bigger than it's bark. It has some very good reasons, why the german soldiers gave that weapon names like "Hitlersäge" (Hitlersaw) "Knochensäge" (bonesaw) and Menschensäge (humansaw).. and my grandpa told me some realy horrific things what happened when they began to lay down lead on allied soldiers... ripped to pieces would be a good definition....

  • @ANDREAILB Yea, i mean during WW2 it was the fastest gun of them all. Imagine being use to hearing "Ta ta ta ta ta" and then all of a sudden getting pinned down by "Trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr". Besides from being deadly, this was a psychological weapon so it did double work. It was like the artillery the Japs used that could barely kill anything but it sounded horrible and it scared a lot of American troops to the point they could not focus.

  • For the people who are asking. yes it will melt the barrel, just like an M60 if you dont fire in bursts

  • i deffiently have to move out of california

  • the russianshave made a mg like that but a moddifed mg try it domr day

  • My grandpa was a dead skull mg shooter. Gladly, he catched the tuberculosis on his train to the eastern front and spend the whole freaky war in a czech hospital :-)

His unit has been completeley exterminated by the russians.

  • what happens if you fire for 10sec without break?

  • @lovewhitsnikkers assuming you don't run out of ammo first you'd probably overheat the barrel and warp/crack it. not sure, though; i don't know much about guns.

  • @lovewhitsnikkers It gets hot I guess. :) They were designed for easy barrel changing, I think.

  • @lovewhitsnikkers 10 secoonds of staright shooting would just make the barrel hot. i wouldnt recomend going , thats if you stop at 10 .

  • @lovewhitsnikkers Not much. But it's not reccomended due to overheating the barrel. I did, back when serving at the army. But changing the barrel is done within seconds, and we always have a spare barrel with us.

  • Hitlers buzzsaw...

  • I'm so glad we were allies with Germans in the war. Well, until the end of 1944, but that was just because we had no choices.

  • THATS A 42 WHY IS THAT EVERY OTHER VID IT SOUNDS SLOW?

  • where did the USA get all these axis weapons from? And how come these weapons are accessible to random gun clubs?? Here in germany you would only find these things in much lower quantity and mostly in museums

  • @OCBsebastian Most started out as trophies taken by US soldiers. I mean you did lose the war you understand...

The rest is that there are few countries in the world you can actually own these and there is a big market in America for Axis WWII weaponry.

  • @wtfdudenotcool101 U guys selling our old guns there?! orginal or what?

  • @Naxorex94 yes original. If they werent brought back by an Allied soldier they were bought by gun companies here in the states, most of the heavy guns like the 42 and 34 were built from parts kits

  • ,,in the 1940's the GI's could bring anything back home in a box or wooden crate, it was a great time to be alive, today Germany is entrenched by liberals who want to rid any knowledge to future generations of violence or self defense, war, instead they're turning their country over to the foreigner muslim invaders.

  • @PupuTheClown Thats an interesting way to put our current political and social situation.

  • There's nothing like the sound of a MG42 in the morning =D

  • that thing is a beast

  • This is my all time favourite weapon! I was a machine gunner in the army and used an MG3! But you have to get that thing off the tripod! You gotta feel the kick! :D

  • and thats why i love the mg42

  • The best heavy machinegun ever built!!

  • This reminds me of a beach..

  • @punk6kills6emo6 me of many who died for a free world......greets from germany

  • @punk6kills6emo6 Yes, a beach that usa conquered.

  • @rucajuda together with Canada and the UK...

  • @punk6kills6emo6 Omaha?

  • @punk6kills6emo6 CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW IT MUST HAVE BEEN TO BE THERE AND WHEN THAT HATCH OPENED AND BULLETS STARTED WHIZZING BY... OH MY GOD , THE LIVES THAT WE LIVE TODAY ARE SO MUCH DIFFERENT TO WHAT THEY'VE MUST BEEN THROUGH . ALMOST EVERY WAR SURVIVAL SAYS THE SAME THING : THAT THE HUMAN MIND CANNOT COMPREHEND THE HORROR OF HOW IT WAS THERE : ARMS AND LEGS FLYING OF NEXT TO YOU , GUTS AND BRAINS EVERYWHERE......AND FOR HOW LONG ? : A DAY OR TWO ?... NO. FOR YEARS !!

  • i wouldn,t like running in the direction of that at normandy.

  • Uuuuh had this in one, when i was in the danish army. Really miss it!

  • oh thats sad 51 people have never shot a gun nice video

  • Holy crap MG-42:s ripping sound must have been a pant-soiler for British troops in north Africa, they met this machine gun first time -42 at El Alamein confronting Rommels troops.

    *shrugs*

  • love design

  • german engineering, italian design, eastern european women, american music. i dont need anything else i think.

  • i had my audio really high so when the gun started shooting i wooped my pants... srsly

  • This was my favourite weapon while military service and I had a pretty good aim with it over a large range.

  • Great weapon, Hungry as an african at xmas when it comes to Ammo though.

  • DEUTSCHE WAFFEN SIEN DIE BESTEN!!!!!!!!!

    GERMAN GUNS ARE THE BEST!!!!!!

  • still the best!

  • Best bloody machinegun ever!

  • wonder how many thousand allied troops fell to this terrifying weapon in WW2 :(

  • wooo best gun for against nazi zombies

  • All hail the MG-42! Talk about home deffense.

  • and that's how we won

  • I can watch this all day!

  • very bad-ass!i can`t imagine having to run up aginst these as our forefather`s had to!they had to be very brave men!

  • @bobsolla Allied troops where taught to advance in the two seconds it took to change the barrel, not very heartwarming, huh?

  • we all know that this gun is terrific. but to me, no matter whether there are better weapons out there or not, it is the best looking weapon ever.

  • i would hate to be shot by that....

  • fired this excelent machine gun in my army days. hell of a gun....

  • That is the sickest gun ever made

  • I'm glad I didn't have to face this on D-Day, It must have been horrendous.

  • i wanna use this on the syrian army

  • nice toy you got there :P

  • Deployable Helghast machinegun! :D

  • mg 42 is actully in use

  • my ultimate dream is to have one of these. I dont care how much does it costs

  • It is an excellent weapon I used it when I was in the Danish military service from in 1990 to 1991.

I have seen interviews with British and American veterans from the invasion of Normandy. They were amazed by the firing rate of this weapon. Compared to their own machineguns.

  • "hitlersäge!

    feine deuetsche ,german, mashinegun!

  • Now change the barrel bare-handed....:)

  • Its...Beautiful :')

  • actually back then...this shit could cut men in half...

  • theres a reason the troops fighting against the germans in ww2 called this weapon hitler's buzzsaw

  • @phobiazzzero dont fool yourselfe it STILL can cut ppl in half XD

  • this machine gun is acurTE THEN ALL THE OTHER MACHINE GUNS WE HAVE NOW :p

  • bring on the zombies!

  • Dear Deutsches Reich....

  • aren't those AK bullets

  • subbed :)

  • i love that sound!

  • omg my sounds was too loud...

  • @GtaMultiplayer100

yea really loud i got shock

  • 49 people were on the other end

  • ...Dear santa...

  • rip to all soldier was killed with this wattafak.

  • How much does the ammo cost you?

  • @entershikari95 i used to get a box of 20 bosnian 8mm mauser rounds for 24 bucks. winchester (poorer quality imo) was 38 bucks for 20 rounds. i dont know about bulk prices.

  • guns are badass

  • @EPICNESS478 yeah. M2 brownig is great, but this...

  • yeeah...my favourite full atomatic machine gun

  • does the tripod have some sort of dampner incorporated in it for the recoil?? cheers

  • @thebruce1313 Yes it does, just as it's WW2 original cousin tripod. The tripod shown is for the modern MG3 which is a direct clopy of the MG42 but in .308 caliber. Both tripods work the same just look slightly different.

  • @C2builder i see, cheers. is the mg3 used by armed forces??

  • @thebruce1313 oh yeah!i was using one in cypriot army....

  • @C2builder , how
