well its partly true that a F1 car could do that but only for a limited time. when the F1 car reaches a perpendicular angle with the road, the tires won't have the help of the normal force cause by gravity and the air resistance will slow the car down greatly. If the loop isn't done fast enough, the speed will slow down soo much that the down force from the air resistance will become less than the weight of the car and will fall.

1st. it wasnt even shumacher who did it, check theres another version of the ad they made before shumacher signed up to brawn that shows the real test driver.

2nd. Its pretty fake, as if they can set the cameras up that way to film that, someone would have had to been underneath the car as it was on the roof, and health and safety wont let you do that.

yes they can enjoy, even I enjoyed this ad, it was an original idea, you dont need to know this is real to enjoy it, just like many movies with special effects and all. but its those who think all these marketing gimmicks are real and so on that you could describe as 'losers', the type who watch 'current affair' programs ,buy everything they see on tv ads and believe everything the media says. ..and its a bit harsh calling me a 'loser'? you dont really know me.

to whoever thinks this is fake: you have to write that something is fake or a dramatization if it is just that. Laws state that you cannot make a commercial about something if it is fake unless saying so. Volvo got slammed with this back in the day because they claimed the car was stronger than it was and therefore lied and did not say it was just a dramatization. This is real, F1 cars do this after about 70 MPH because the downforce (1500LBS) out weighs the car (1200 lbs)

Okay, fake, but a very cool commercial nevertheless! I do wonder if it's possible. Doesn't the Saleen S7 lay claim that its aerodynamics would theorectically allow it to go upside down? Anyhow, I wish Schumy the best with Mercedes . . . it is a little weird now associating him with MB after being with Ferrari for so long. Funny how the 458 Italia just came out, which I guess he helped with, and now he's with another company.
