In regards to the whole iPad/Flash thing, i actually found an app that people most likely already know about. Its called iSwifter, its free to try out and if you want to keep using it after the trial is over then it will run you can buy it, which in my opinion is worth it cuz i can browse flash sites with it and the frame rate is quite good, a hell of alot better than trying to view any flash based sites using the safari browser

That's REALLY my #1 problem, the fact that iPad doesn`t have the ability to expand its' memory on the device. You have to buy an exterior memory card reader to hook to the iPad's built in docking plug in just to do that vs a netbook that probably already has those abilities. Also, You are ONLY allowed to back up your iOS Apps on iCloud or iTunes. On an Android Tablet, or Phone, or Smart Player, you have the abilities to back up your apps to a microsd memory card.

I think anyone would like the ipad 2 or any tablet if it linked somehow to anyone's comp so then whatever i work on, is on my computer instead of that lame icloud which just transfers files-unlike the xbox 360 for example that stores files on2 its cloud which makes more sense if some1 doesnt have alot of memory

I honestly don't understand why people need an iPad... I got one for my birthday but I didn't like it because it was, 1. Way too big to carry around places 2.i already had a laptop. You can multitask on Ipad and all IOS5.5 devices, and Flash has been discontinued by Adobe for mobile devices they will support it but no more releases, you can install another browser on Ipad that uses FLASH, check it out.

I think the iPad is good, and if I had one I'd definitely...find something to do with it. The videos you watch on YouTube would be larger, but he's right, it seems like an oversized iPhone. In this day and age, portable is good, so the iPad not being able to fit in your pocket is an issue, probably more for guys.
I own an iPad2, and its the most useful thing i own. I can record music, edit videos, check email/social networking, surf the web, play games, listen to music, stream media to my t.v,and much more. Every single cent i paid for it was well worth it.

Here's my top 4 reasons not to get an iPad:
1.) It's a Gigantic version of the iPod Touch with a downgraded iPhone accented iOS.
2.) No Flash Video App or Capabilities ... yet.
3.) You have to buy an external memory card reader to hook in to the iPad's Dock Connector just to be able to expand the iPad's Memory.
4.) It's WAY Overpriced.
Reason to get an iPad:
At least teachers can get books with taking all the space on their shelves.

You can multitask on Ipad and all IOS5.5 devices, and Flash has been discontinued by Adobe for mobile devices they will support it but no more releases, you can install another browser on Ipad that uses FLASH, check it out.

I think the iPad is good, and if I had one I'd definitely...find something to do with it. The videos you watch on YouTube would be larger, but he's right, it seems like an oversized iPhone. In this day and age, portable is good, so the iPad not being able to fit in your pocket is an issue, probably more for guys.

I own an iPad2, and its the most useful thing i own. I can record music, edit videos, check email/social networking, surf the web, play games, listen to music, stream media to my t.v,and much more. Every single cent i paid for it was well worth it.

I sold the Ipad I got as a gift and got me a chinese Epad for less than 100$, which is a device I actually own. You should realize that by buying an Ipad you become an Apples Store slave. BTW my epad has USB/Ethernet/HDMI, etc ports and unlimited compatibility!

Apple is the most admired company on earth, it's product are the highest rated in every class and AppleCare Technical Support was rated the best by Consumer Reports for a record 11 years strait. Predicting Apple's success is so easy to do. Just figure that they will sell every one of what ever it is, that they can make.

I know that HP too, did a particolar laptop which could swingle on itself and reveal a screen where you coul use a pensil, or Lenovo in 2001 releasing a sort of tablet ... The problem was the portability, and the performances. In 1991, Apple made the first macbook, but was very much comparable in terms of performances to the MAC. What really introduced Jobs, has been the multifunction portability in one device. Before the Ipod...

@TigeroL42 mp3 players were big like cd players, the motorola accompli (one of the forst touch screen phone), was big like the first Star-TAC, and the touchscreen did not work really well. Just to give you an analogy. Who did invent the Relational Data Base? A guy from IBM. Who made relational data bases what they are now: ORACLE.

My main gripe with the ipad is the shitty wifi chip installed.
My ipad had such a poor throughput when say watching youtube videos and connected to mobile broadband wifi devices. I tried many different brands.
So I sold mine and bought an AMD based netbook which is far far superior in everyway and 1 third the price. IPAD FAIL

@SilverRaven53 I thought so to, but so far I've been using it for almost 2 months in school, it's great for notetaking, or even doing major tasks in school. I also bought it to replace my 3 year old ipod touch :P Since it pretty much is a big ipod touch.
