You need to go to a rave and experience them before you can say what they are. They have heavy security and check every single person for drugs and weapons. Most raves don't even sell alcohol and if ANYONE is seen with drugs, the security usually warns and then closes the rave. I've never seen anyone hurt, raped or abused in any way.
The Utah Rave in 2005 was completely legal and the ONLY busts for drugs were from the security guards who had confiscated drugs from people entering.
i think you are talking about clubs or commercial music festivals lol... Im a raver and been to like 100 raves and all of them have drugs. They keep it very safe though and people should be able to put what they want into their own body. the last rave i was at the owner was even sellling drugs... i think you need to go to a REAL underground rave not some gay commercial bullshit

The recent bank holiday rave got busted savagely with 200 odd riot police, lots of injuries (both sides) and lots of arrests.
