I just can't imagine anyone being funnier than Robin Williams. Not in the past, not in the future. This is it. The funniest human machine you'll ever see. As Carson said - supremely talented.
This is awesome...its even funny to notice that this and all of his other appearances aren't traditional interviews. They are mostly Williams telling jokes and impersonations...awesome!
I remember watching this episode live in 87, my memory was that Williams was simply on fire that night. Seeing it again, he was. What is not included in this video is Bob Hope had to follow Robin Williams...and was not pleased. The first thing out of his mouth was, "Thanks for the slot Johnny". It was painful, Bob Hope would say a joke to silence, and Robin would add a one liner to Bob's joke and bring the house down. It was almost like Johnny was sending Bob a message.
Robin Williams talking about his movie "Good Morning Vietnam"

Epic moment in talk-show history. I don't remember anyone cracking up Johnny Carson like that.
Robin is a gem.

I find this very funny - i watched almost all yt videos of Robin supposedly promoting his film but ended up doing a comedy stand up of some sort.
He is really incredibly great.

Robin is absolutely hilarious. I also received just as much enjoyment watching Johnny's reactions to Robin. Thanks for posting this.
