Not many - U.S. bombing runs usually destroy the entire military infrastructure before they invade with ground troops. Pockets of defenders trying to fight back the invaders (known as "insurgents") occasionally get lucky, but it's relatively rare for there to be serious injuries.
This guy was so eager to get maimed, he used his face to remove the live portion of an electrical cable from a person who was under the insulated portion of the wire.
