I really like Sean. I don't know how anyone can say he's annoying. I think if I was as tired and frustrated as he was then I'd sometimes be a bit disheartened too, but he's a much more genuine guy than Reed (from what I can tell from TV)
sean and reed are both badasses they should work together without josh from now on since they accomplished what they set out to do in the beginning reed is hilarious and sean is too they're both nice to most people and both entertaining in different ways on the show equally
I like Sean....him and Reed remind me of two brothers...the perfect brother Reed / the prodical son....and Sean the imperfect brother who rarely has the luck on his side .
IMO Both Sean and Reed seem a bit whiny at times. I am glad Sean got his shot--Having done a documentary many years ago I know how much of a pain that can be. It takes Plenty of guts and cajones to get as close to a twister as these guys do ! Me, I may chase some day, but from a VERY safe distance !!!!
It makes all the difference in the world when you have the right equipment in the field. God bless you Sean for developing and building the TIV2 Intercept vehicle. It has served you better, 10 fold, compared to TIV1. I'm looking foreword to seeing Tornado Alley on the big iMax screen.

Sean Casey may very well be one of the most annoying human beings on the face of the earth. Not to mention the fact that when it comes to storm chasing, he isnt even a pimple on Reed Timmers ass.
@vincefigs how is reed not annoying? hes got a big ego, he yells like a girl and always says its the best storm hes ever seen, hes on commercials, over zealous, and doesnt treat his own team with respect. Sean always treats everyone with respect and is a very nice guy
@vincefigs I agree with CoStormChasers. Reed is absolutely obnoxious. Just because Sean doesn't navigate, doesn't mean he isn't a fantastic storm chaser. He thinks of his crew before himself and doesn't scream and cry like a little girl when something doesn't go his way. Reed kicks one of the best people out of his vehicle to bring a piece of ass in, who doesn't benifit the team in any way than for Reed to get some back at the hotel. Yet again, Reed is a lot more annoying than Sean.

@state135 Sean has over 15 intercepts, you only see whats on the show, they have their script, and hes done it for many years, the mets have got him close many times

Guys, the intercept was phenomenal. I'm in no way a storm chaser; however, you all have opened me up to the science and I was literally cheering you on during that intercept. Keep up the hard work and I'm still looking out for "Tornado Alley." TIV2 was killer and I cannot wait to see what you all do with TIV3!

So what do I have to do to join you guys? lol I chased these things for over 10 years but we dont get many here anymore in Northern,IL Although summer 2009 our warnings went off, 2 tornados passed right over my house in Elburn,IL and touched down less than a mile away. Id love to chase them though with others though. Alone chasing can get a little freaky.

Yep I heard the gay cougar effect while watching it on television Sunday ... at first I wasn't sure that's what it was, but I kept hearing it again ... this is momentous enough without Discovery having to augment the clip in such a goofy way
Now I wonder when we get to see the finished IMAX film!
And now that Sean got what he wanted, I wonder what will happen to TIV2 ... hopefully someone will continue to use it, if not for IMAX work, at least for instrumented intercepts for more data =)
I thought it wasnt the shot he really wanted. He was looking for a tornado in early forming stages dropping directly on him as he filmed, this was a mature tornado just crossing his camera and the camera didnt even look directly up at it
