Thank you for sharing this video, this video bring back a lots of memories even I was only 10 years old at the time but I can still remembers clearly like it was yesterday I have a hard life my mom is widow with 3 kids and my grandmother only 1 boy in my family i'm the oldest, 1 brother and 1 sister. I remember getting up early before school to get water, well you know what happen..thank again I appreciated now I can show my kids what Khao I dang camp is like from your picture..

Thank you for sharing. I have never been in Khao I Dang camp, but I had aunts and uncles lived there before they went to Toronto, Canada. They are all now doing very well and wealthy. I know how you all felt when you live in the camp. I used to lived in Cuchi camp in Vietname for one year with my long distant relative and my two brothers. It was so sad at that time.
I am trying to locate my father, Saream Reap. He was the soccer coach in Khao I Dang from 1980 until 1985. He was last known to have lived in New Zealand but is now believed to live in Australia. @PaulSam2 Thank You for sharing this video. I was a 14yrs old girl when my family made to Khao I Dang Refugee Camp in 1979. My family was never have enough food to eat so I went outside the Refugee Camp crossed over barbwire to looked for mushrooms,vegetable and woods for fire all over to the very top of Khao I Dang's mountain. Looking back I was a very brave 14yrs old.
wow. This is very touching. Make me want to cry to hear and see. I was very little but remember everything. Khmer remember that we are beautiful people:)
Thank you the song is good I still remember sometime when my family and I hiding from the robbery every night the main man announce on the intercom we had to hide in the ditch that we dig in our coconut leave I don't have any picture because we can't afford to pay the photographer to take our family picture.
