Poor, poor Utena.

After experiencing the whole series and everything it reveals, it's been hard for me to approach the film as anything more than a daydream summation, the product of wishful thinking on the part of one main character or the other.

But, it's still very beautiful and well done, taken on its own terms, I suppose.

And besides, I really REALLY love this scene.. I am so envious of Utena and Anthy dancing on top of the stars in the reflection on the water.. (Oh yeah, sorry about how it ended, my movie maker is acting weird and wouldn't show the castle at the end)
