  • But but but .. I love pig fat

  • hahaha that was hillarious

  • OMG that'd be heaven with all that pig fat D:

  • I'm assuming its Sam gyup sal?

Which is pretty good, assuming you cook it completely through and put some pepper paste on it...

  • Ithat sound effect u guys put when u were talking about the phone crisis is the beginning of my ride by jeremih

  • Damn I just saw an episode of Secret Garden and the were eating this pig fat and it looked kinda delicious... now I'm gonna remove that from my 'what I'm gonna do when I'm in korea'-list ..

  • @komadorii well, simon and martina ate pig SKIN/fat that's.. >.< as;lkdj different blech

  • @animegirlx15

haha I dont know exactly what they ate in SG .. it looks all the same when its crispy xD

after this I searched for some more videos on youtube and maybe it tastes great when its really really really crispy with lettuce garlic and some spicy paste xD

  • Well, I like dangly pig fat.

  • @MorroccoSurrogate But your heart and arteries don't.

  • SO FUNNY!! :D

  • Was it "껍데기" that you had? Pork Rind?

  • Hahaha wouldn't spudgy have liked the pig noms? LOL!!

  • When it comes to food i can say that as a hispanic thats grown up in Texas i'm not a very picky eater. Pigs fat, that doesnt seem to be a big deal in eating lol but of course it just might be a cultural/where you have grown up kind of thing :3 its understandable.

  • It's supposed to cooked so its all crispy and yummy :3 we eat pigs fat/skin in norway during christmas. It's seriously yummy! <3 It's called Svor in norway however. It's supposed to be all crispy and bubbly on the surface :P

  • @BehindGirl haha, like 'ribbe'? ;p im from norway too:)

  • LOL you guys didn't cook it enough!!!

  • You guys must be really good actors!

  • When I first got to Japan I accidentally ordered fried cartilage, thinking that it was fried meat, SO CHEWY!

  • I thought u guys were going to say "dog" instead of pig fat :S

  • @snarklepark You can't accidentally order dog meat in an ordinary restaurant in Korea. You have to seek out the select places that specialize in it. A friend of mine tried it while on a business trip to Korea years ago, and she had to ask her hosts to take her to one.

  • LOL! XD

  • I can't find the house tour video.. :(

  • you guys published this.......won't you get caught O_O?

  • @KakiSuzuki Cause the guy who gave them the pigs fat will totally find this video, somehow learned English to understand what they are saying, and remember them from yeaaarsss ago. Totally man, totallly. xD

  • Why were you guys in korea, was it like a job transfer or something?

  • Comment removed

  • lmfao that sound like something I'd do.... "Oh noes my delish pig fat!" Well shoot"

  • "This is amazing...this is proof that God exists and He loves me" LOOOOL xD

  • what does tl dr mean?

  • @SakuramuKagome Too Long; Didn't Read :)

  • lmao you guys are funny

  • Are you guys god? First the teddy bear, now meat... Ur making lots of ppl happy xD

  • lmao! greatest escape plan ever! bwhahaahah

  • omg you guys are so funny :D

  • We eat pig skin in England. It's called "Crackling", and it's delicious! You can also buy them cold and cut into "rinds" and are a snack like crisps, called Pork Scratchings.

  • @AleksandrsLV ....:O ....it's really disgusting!!!!

  • @AleksandrsLV Very few people over here actually eat crackling, and its gross LOL

  • @AleksandrsLV I LUV PIG SKIN! hehe. We call it (literal translation) Fry Meat :333

  • Pig skin is actually very famous in a lot of countries. I really dont mind pig fat at all! You just neeeed to know how to cook it and serve it. Some aren't as greasy and fatty as some people may think .

  • The way you guys say 반찬... hahahahah but very cool either way!

  • I recently went to KOREA too! and I also went to a Chinese food place on the last day. I order sweet sour pork and jajangmyun. but the pork was sooo huge and i was really full and had like 2 pieces... but i felt bad leaving it. so i thought of this video and did exactly what you did! but I left the bag in a toilet instead.....

  • Spudgey could have eaten it?

  • : ) ahahaha you guys are hilarious!

  • I am sooo doing this next time I go eat at a restaurant that has nasty foods... Thanks for the idea Simon and Martina :)

  • I take it canada doesnt have pork rinds???

  • LOL THERE CLEVER OMG. I WOULD HAVE JUST RAN OUT.

  • pig skin is actually pretty tasty. Really hard to cook though...cause it does attack you. Once it is cooked though, it's chewy and tastes like... well, chewy bacon pieces.

  • I understand why pig fat would be tasty to a Korena citizen...they don't have fat in their diets daily as North Americans.

  • ughhh pig skin is also popular in Latin countries...but I can't bring myself to enjoy it! Think of all the cholesterol!

  • This is hilarious!

  • @kpopisawesome123 haha awesome, good question! :D

  • I still can't believe you answered my question. I'm dreaming!!! aha

  • Pig skin is soooooooooooooo goood for your skin XD

  • haha wait i remeber that super juniors leteuk told a story once where him and another member eunhyuk went ot eat out, but the food was too expensive for them, but they didnt wanna leave saying that to the waiter so they also had an "emergency phonecall" from their manager saying they suddenly had a schedule, so they left..awww so alike^^

  • u guys should try pig skin. (돼지 등껍질)

  • They're talking about pig skin, which yeah is just squidgy and not that edible for foreigners...!

Had it the other day (in Korea) lol!

  • HHahahahaa lol thats funny,

  • Like if the fat is still there:)LOL

  • Lmfao I've never thought people would really do this not only on korea but anywhere. I mean I only see this stuff on tv lmao

  • In Spain and Mexico they also eat pork fatback. They call it tocino (or chicharron in some places). I hate it personally, but a lot of people really like it. Must be terrible for your arteries, though. Anyway, I think it was a cute story and really sweet that you guys went through all of that drama to avoid being insulting or culturally insensitive. Very cute.

  • I think what you might have ate was pig skin. 돼지껍대기. I personally dont like it but koreans eat it alot cuz it is proven it is good for your skin.

  • I can't tell if you guys ordered pork rind or samgyupsal...if it was samgyupsal for shame! Samgyupsal is like, up there with kalbi in terms of Korean barbecue. 8U

  • Eee I think you guys Made a (terrible) mistake. Sam Gyap Sal stands for korean barbecue but with slim slices of pig's breast meat, and most of koreans leave the bones(or should you say cartilage) and the fat on it, but there's definitively more meat than fat on it (like three quarters of meat) and it's so delicious when grilled with onions and garlic! For the pig's skin and 100% fat is Jjeok Pal (쪽발 I think) which stands for pig's feet (made only of fat and cartilage)

  • Was it sam gyup sal?

  • @teeteeah no sam gyup sal is .. deeper in? it has layers of fat in between meat, but it's not just fat and skin.. LOL they ate pork like.. rind

  • Hahahahah that was funny with the little cartoon of the two spiting out pig fat LMAO XD

  • how to use korean chopsticks in the correct way??

  • @StitchLoveMe Though there is a "common" way to use it, there is no "correct" way. We will not judge people on how people hold their chopsticks :) So I don't think this question needs a video for it. I hold my chopsticks like a pencil, which is very different from how my family holds it, but it's not a bad thing. It only matters on self preference.

  • OMG hahahaha! you guys went through all that acting twice to get rid of that dish? lolol

  • did you guys figure out exactly how you were suppose to eat the pig fat?

  • Texas!!!!!!! xD I'm from Texas!

  • @ForeverCellist ME too lol xD

  • @HellomuSic1296

Really? o.o Where? xD I'm from Dallas. Or, near it.

  • @ForeverCellist San Antonio:)

  • @HellomuSic1296

I'm from Texas too!!!!! And Korean! Double yay! :D

  • If you want collagen, please, eat jello,

animal fat, is bad for your heart :(

  • Kay well i don't know about canada, but in America we pay for our trash bags.

    l:<

  • @xiibu no we dont ? o.o

  • @candi3xcraz3x do you not have to go to the grocery store and buy trash bags?? oAo

  • @xiibu

    ohhhhh, lol nvm!

  • u guys are funny!

  • TRY BBQ CHICKEN!! best chicken in korea evahh

  • I LOVE PIG SKIN. but the pigskin you ordered sounds like it was cooked different..

  • it was actually my first time trying out the pork skin, just about 2 years ago.not sure if it's just my korean side that loves the strange korean food!!! Why don't you give it another shot....it isn't so bad after all :D

  • If in India u see a packet or something just left abandoned, they'll think its a bomb! Lol!

U could have given that food to a homeless person.

  • In Germany you have to pay too and there are still many public garbage cans..

  • That is pig skin! It is wonderful great for your skin! Makes you look young!

  • I think you guys ordered pork skin. Which is a delicacy but an acquired taste. Yeah they are quite chewy.

  • I want to go to Korea I'm new 2 ur videos do u enjoy korean

  • Onew has found his best friend.

  • I love u guys♥

  • I've only just found your channel and I have to say you guys are fantastic.

    LOVE IT!

  • I don't know what it is.. everytime I see that Spudgy picture wobble back and forth like it's humping something, I just erupt in laughter. It's funny. every. time.

  • @ablestmage: I always thought he was attacking, but I'm gonna keep your Spudgy view in mind! XD

  • LOL hahahahahaaaa i thot im the only 1 who did sumthing like this at a restaurant not liking the food n then creating a scenario XD

  • 아 웃다가 죽겠내 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

  • the pig fat thing was like oil for the grill

  • A bag of pig fat hahahahaha, you guys are awesome...but seriously that must have been a very bad day!

  • They came out in Running Man!!!! Episode 19! lolll. How was the food? xD

  • @ShinLa83 :O reallly !!! gtta go watch it !!!

  • That pig fat when it's cooked is called pork crackling in Australia and it is really yum!

  • In Ecuador it is considered delicious. Fried pig skin with cooked pig fat is a delicacy. X( I wish i was there!

  • OUR KOREANS LOVE CHICKEN

  • Heechul was also in my mind when they said CHICKEN.

  • whats Onew? and why would people serve pig fat in restaurants??!! i dont get it!! help me out!

  • @lemonjump Onew is from SHINee, Onew + chicken is like a running joke. And pig fat is not that uncommon of a dish in Korea but when you ordered chicken you're bound to be disappointed! lol

  • @sapphireXsecrets so there's no way i can eat actual chicken in korea?

  • @lemonjump Of course you can eat actual chicken! xD It was mentioned in this video that Simon and Martina mistakenly ordered the pig fat (since they couldn't read the text) because they thought it was chicken.

  • Why does Spudgy always hump everything? XD

  • lol that was soo funny, the things u did to avoid that pig fat.

  • My family eats pig noms. Lol every year in fall when we make house sausages and other stuffs we buy whole pigs and deal with them. (-,-); don't judge. Lol

It's a delicacy. In Romanian it's called "șoric" which translates into "rind".

And it's delicious~ I eat it raw or just singed a bit, but my sister can only eat it if it's really crispy.. So maybe y'all just didn't cook it long enough. ^^

  • @IwishIwasasharpie There's nothing to judge! In fact, I think it's awesome that people get the whole animal and eat it all (even bones, to make stock and stuff) because you don't waste anything, unlike a lot of people here in -at least- the US. So I think the spoiled people who only know how to eat certain parts should be the ones judge ^_~

  • hahahaahahhaha i love your videos so much! you guys are incredible!

  • Simon and Martina: the best actors in times like that XD

  • crackling! YUM

  • ... I'm guessing that the pig fat you're talking about is samgyubsal, a.k.a the food that kept coming up during the Khuntoria run of WGM?

  • LOL!!!! a mi no se me hubiera ocurrido lo mismo!! son buenos actores! ;)

bueno creo que por todo empieza uno...

    thanks for the video!

  • I'm dying I laughed so much!!!

  • LOL Pig fats noms!!!!!!

  • i wonder why koreans love pig fat..maybe bec it differs from different countries.. just like how we love chicharon and sisig here in the phil.

  • Ooh, you guys are geniuses! :p haha, good on you for pulling that off!

  • I'm seriously over the thinking-of-onew-if-chicken-is-mentioned thing -_-"

  • Wait! Yer Noms!

  • lolol, i dont think you understand how funny this is. Before my best friend moved a couple of years ago, we would do that exact same thing to get out of a bad restaurant without feeling like jerks lol. Im glad we're not the only ones lol

  • i love the way the music in the background starts and the translator says "music" as if we needed help with THAT xD

  • lol i haven't laughed so hard in a while………it's like when i went to a taqueria in san francisco and ordered six tacos and i guy was like are you sure? just for you? and was adventurous and ordered all the weird stuff like tongue, brain, intestine………no bueno………no bueno

  • I was terribly laughing at this story of yours..XD...aww...it's a first time..that happens very often..XD

  • this is too funny XD

  • Oh, so it was you guys who left that stuff there...

My cousin was really pissed because he was trying to make an emergency phone call to try and get a ride to a concert, and then he stepped on a bag of meat. Not sure if it's your bag, but Koreans have this mania for recycling and putting things in the proper place, so it was either you, some other foreigner or a very lazy Korean whose probably going to get fined for that :P

  • @Firestorm6651 it's probably them, i mean how many time do you see a bag of meat in pay phone?

  • Haha its good for your skin tho

  • Samgyeopsal !

  • simon looks like john lovitz thats the ticket

  • lmaooooooooooo

  • Omg you guys are so awesome!!!:)

  • LOL this .is. amazing XD

  • it wasn't samkyupsal ?

thats exactly what bacon is...except all the salt and marinade...

haha...its a very very popular food in Korea...it takes getting used to im sure haha...

  • @namjah I'm sure they had dweji kkupjil, which is the type of food that's usually popular among adults and not for young ppl. it's pretty hard to find in normal restaurants too. it'd be creepy if samgyupsal had skin and hair

  • @tokee1234567 icic. thats true too...haha. yum either way! :D

  • There was a scene in Secret garden when they ate the pig skin and...it really seemed un-eatable to me :D nice job you two! XDD

  • Omg that's so bad. But you guys came up with an awesome plan tho. XD

  • TERRIBLE PEOPLE? YOU GUYS ARE GENIUS!

  • good idea... being such a picky eater, i now know a new way to escape from yucky food! :D

  • pig fat <3333...maybe guys you don't cook well xDD coz is delicious :Q_

  • LOL.......pig fat~~~ xD ahahahahaha

  • The stuff you ordered is called 돼지 껍데기.(pig skin), it's like a really popular junk food :P... and it's not really... elegant or clean. yep. :P

  • @Jennnnnnnnnniiiiieee xDD that thing in dominican republic is called chicharon D: is GOOOD

  • Onew= Chicken Lover <3

  • pig fat noms xD

  • Wow... Nice acting guys! SO it does work! HAHAH

  • Phone calls save the day!!

  • hahahaha 0:50 - 0:58 I think Onew snuck his LOVE FOR CHICKEN into their heads... and a little bit of his condition hahahahaha xP

  • omg! pig fat is like.. the BEST THING EVER!!!

  • I LOVE PIG FAT! <3

  • HAHA this was funny

  • LMFAOOO PIG FAT XD The way how you guys left the restraunt and "forgot" the food was hilarious.

  • I was eating when i watched this and I lost my appetite when they started talking about the pig's fat. xP

  • You guys are geniuses! I wish I was a fast-thinker like you guys XD

  • Nice acting skills LOL :D

  • MEAT! MEAT! MEATT!!!!

  • Pig fat is actually really good, but like others have commented already it does have to be cooked until it's crunchy...In Mexico it's called chicharrones :)

  • Pig fat is actually very popular in Russia and Ukraine xDD

It's called sala/salo or something, and you can fry omelets and stuff on it :\

  • graphics are amazing

  • I like Martina's hairstyle in this video! :D

  • LOL! I'm Salvadoran American and we love our Pig Fat! You coulda given me your pig fat noms! :D

  • Okay I feel kinda stupid,

but we also have to pay for our garbage bags, and we have garbage cans everywhere

  • I've just found you guys, I've never laughed so much xD

  • Don't worry everyone, I've already reported them to the Korean National Police.

  • XD HAHA LMFAO

  • For cooking the pig fat or whatever, I think you're suppose to cook it until it's like crunchy so that all the fat is fully cooked. I went to korean restaurant and at first I didn't really cook it well enough so it was all mushy and gross, but then my dad told me that i was suppose to cook it until it was like crunchy and stuff. :)

  • Maybe it's because I grew up Chinese, but what you guys had to eat sounds delicious. haha
